Dr. Jart+
Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45
Reviews
HI could someone help me with my concern? Please
HI, about BBCreams that say "whitening"? that sounds a little dangerous to the skin and not healthy. I hope when it says whitening it means that its just while the BB CReam is on your face, and then when you wash your face then it all goes away. right? I bought Bad GUy BB Cream from Etude House and Im REALLY pale. I wouldnt want to get any paler. Products should'nt mess with skin tones. Makeup doesnt do that (not that Ive used any), but Ive never heard of makeup saying "whitening". I hace sensitive skin also. Should I try the product. I havent tried it. This is my forst BB CReam. This freaks me out it makes me think aboout Michaek Jackson. Its scary and sad. Im really worried about discoloration or somethig, since it has whitening. :/
I gave The DR. Jart 5 stars because I havent tried it so I cant give it one star
great skin care benefits, one shade, light on the coverage
This beauty balm is great for the very fair. The shade fits very few skin tones. It's very light. It has some great skin care products in it and works very well as a primer. It has a very light coverage, so it helps to even out skin tones. My girls who are loving the full coverage should avoid this product unless they are using it under another liquid foundation.
i love this advanced formula of bb cream..its amazing, makes my skin flawless, feels totally weightless, my skin looks radiant and feels moisturized. its perfect for everyday especially since i don't like foundations very much unless necessary. its my go-to for everyday natural coverage
Looove it!!! Love it!!
I cannot believe how great this product is! Great coverage and makes my skin look smooth and more importantly, radiant! I have used many foundations, tinted moisturizers, and other BB balms and this is the best! The best thing about it is how it makes my skin so pearly and radiant! Would highly recommend it !
My Holy Grail
MY HOLY GRAIL I also reviewed the Detox formula for full disclosure, because I use both and love them both.
This one is a bit more natural looking (very subtly so) and you can see, if you look very carefully, a faint shimmer from the addition of white gold to the formula. This one also has a higher SPF, and caters more to people with concerns about signs of aging. Detox is aimed more towards people with troubled skin that is sensitive and prone to breaking out. I own and use both, as I said.
I like this ones look a little better, and I do worry about premature aging, with all the fussing I do on my face. This stuff is a one step wonder.
I used to use Laura Mercier's Radiance Primer, and Nars Sheer Glow foundation in Gobi, but no more. I used to wash, treat, treat, tone, moisturize, prime, apply foundation, and then powder, no more. Now I wash, apply BB cream, and go!
This stuff looks better, saves me BIG money, and is beyond amazing. I'm surprised that more people aren't raving about this stuff. Maybe because it is a Korean brand? People keep raving about the US versions of BB cream, which are usually watery, tinted moisturizer-esque products that I've found totally unhelpful. I love the BB Cream from Korea because it's thick, it applies evenly, and blends easily and completely, and it leave my skin feeling amazing and supple too.
I've had SO MANY people compliment me on my complexion since I started wearing it, and I've never gotten compliments like that before. Everyone says the same thing. "Wow, your skin is perfect, how do you do that, it's amazing!" I say that it isn't perfect, I use my BB Cream and it just looks that way. It is truly a miracle product.
Think of it this way:
Laura Mercier Radiance Primer: $35 Nars Foundation: $45 Skin Treatment: anywhere from $30-$200+ Tinted moisturizer: $20-$50 Setting powder: $20
vs.
Dr. Jarts BB Cream: $35
sold.
This stuff is amazing. Give it a try in Sephora. If it matches your skin tone, then pick up a bottle, I promise you will not regret it. If it doesn't match, I'm sorry, you have to continue your search for the perfect foundation. I lucked out. This stuff is beyond amazing. Thank you Dr. Jart!
