Hmmmmmm
This looked amazing on when the assistant in the shop did it - like me but better. It's full coverage but doesn't feel like it and it evened my skin tone out (I am quite red round my nose). It also did not sit in my pores like most foundations I have tried. However, when I did it myself at home, that is exactly what it did. BUT I need to give it another go. I was in the middle of decorating my room at the time and couldn't lay my hands on my usual moisturiser, primer or foundation brush or a sponge wedge. So it may be because I didn't apply it as well as I usually would. I;ve rated this average as it's slap bang in the middle. For how it looked when I did it, i'd give it a one, for how it looked when the shop assistant did, i'd give it 5!
Nothing special
I give this a low rating just cause I think I bought totally wrong color for my skintone and overall I just didn't work out for me. The lady at the counter actually recommended this color to me, but it's just too orange on me. It was pricey and I wish I did a little bit of more research on this before I purchased it. The finish is nothing special, I had greater with my low end foundations. The strong scent of roses,ot whatever it is, is so strong I smell it WHILE I am wearing it. Not impressed by that. Even If I had a different shade I don't think I would repurchase this. It is for "mature" skin so maybe this was just not for a 24 old lady like me.
The BEST!
I've used many "higher end foundations" and hands down Dior Capture Totale Foundation is the very best. This foundation is pricey but lasts a very long time. It will give your face a glow from within and hide any flaws you may have. Including redness, shadows, dark circles. The pigments are very rich. I have very dry skin and I don't end up with the afternoon tightness that every foundation leaves me with other than, DIOR. It's basically two products in one because it also has their $180 serum in it. This foundation is my all time favorite and I'm always, always, looking for another foundation to put this one in the dirt and to date, it's NOT happening. It's worth every dime.
