Good for the price
Sophisticated Sable. What a nice name. The product itself was very nice for the price. The lightest shade was transparent on my skin (light with warm undertones). It probably won't show up well on you unless you are very fair. The medium shade was just the perfect natural flush for my skin. The darkest shade I used for contouring and night time blush. I went to a dance and wore it and it was perfect. A little dramatic, but still not too much. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the lightest shade and packaging. Before I forget: throw away the brush it comes with and get a nice one. It will completely change your experience.
Loved it!
It was another great drugstore find! So proud I found these blushes. It came into 3 different shades which I love. They looked great on my skin :) I might purchase these again!
Underrated, Affordable, Easy to Use!
I love these because they are so convenient! 3 shades in one little palette and they're extremely affordable! The color payoff is very nice and I kind of like the Noxema-ish smell. That's probably weird of me haha :p anyways I love that I can use the deep shade to contour, the mid shade on my apples, and use the lightest shade to highlight! I have Purely Plum but I want to own them all! I highly recommend this if you want something easy to use, especially for on the go.
A plane could land on my face...
...becuase the blush was very sparkly and settled in my pores. I looked like a human airport. These blushes are waay too sheer. It looks light on the pan but is a bit translucent. The shades could go darker for darker skintones. There wasn't much variation between the 3 shades at all.
I didn't like any of these colours as a blush, they were to shimmery or too dull once applied...these would probably work better on a person with a lighter complexion ,and they were scented which I hate, because it doesn't take much to irritate my skin...I used them an eye-shadow instead (no money wasted)
I used this long ago when I was kid and I use to love it I didnt know they still sell it??? Hmm but I loved the colors. If you can find this somehwhere let me know.
So... I only use this kit just for the lightest shade as a highlight.... But even so it's amazing :) The other 2 shades in it are just too sparkly for me to use as a blush. I prefer matte ones like MAC's "Pink Swoon". It's a good product though. I would say it was one of the first blushes I purchased.
I have this in "Purely Plum" and I have to say, I really like it. The thing I like most about this blush, is that it has 3 shades instead of just 1. I found this gave me the freedom to mix and match each shade to different looks, but to also mix 2 or even all 3 of the shades together to create a custom color to go with any look. I found this blush blends nicely, and would look good on light-medium skin tones, or perhaps someone with a cooler undertone to their skin. Though I found it works, and looks equally as nice on me, with my warmer undertoned skin. The blush does have a bit more shimmer than I normally prefer, but I think the shimmer helps give me a more natural glow in summer than it would in winter. The pigmentation of the blush is somewhat sheer, so if you want a bolder blush look, you'd have to layer the blush on a bit. Overall, I think this blush is a great find at the drugstore and is unbeatable for the price. I will defintely be repurchasing it when I run out.
