The Reverse Lip Liner

Celebrities have known about the secret technique of reverse liner for years, and now available are improved, easy to use, products for the everyday woman to also have a red carpet ready lip, using nude reverse lip liners.

I have this in the shade medium/dark. This reverse lip liner defines and cleans up the lip line, giving the illusion of naturally full lips. The formula is very sturdy yet blends nicely and keeps color in place. Lipgloss lovers can achieve a structured lip without having to use loads of products nor worry about gloss bleeding from the edges.

If you're wearing lipstick, you can trace the desired lip shape using the reverse liner outside of your lip line first, blend it out, apply lipstick (use a brush for precision and longevity), and to further ensure the lip shape, outline once more and blend out. For maximum stay, take the sharp edge of a wedge sponge, dab in set powder and gently press over the reverse lip liner and blend out.

This liner can also be used to brighten up the lower waterline for a bright eye effect--a great alternative to using white!

I found this pencil a few years back at Sephora, and picked up the #2 shade but wasn't a big fan since it didn't really match my skin tone. I recently rediscovered it as part of the 7 in 7 kit, in light/medium, which includes the #1 shade. Now that I have played with it a bit and figured out how to blend it around my lips properly, I am loving it!!
