Good-- but not for me.
Starting out in makeup, I looked to the Sales Assistant at my local Mecca wondering about a good concealer. She chose this one, trying it on me and at the time, I really didn't know what I wanted in a concealer; so I bought it. But, after experimenting more with makeup, I realised this product is not for me. I think it is a fantastic product, it blends well and is easy to use, but my problem area is dark circles and this is definitely more of a brightening pen that I would use over correctors to brighten up the face. Although I think it's amazing; I don't use it enough to be worth the money!
Really nice
I am a big fan of highlighting concealers, my favorite is the Clinique Airbrush Concealer. This concealer by BY TERRY does a great job, just like my beloved Clinique. I find the shade 1 Fair to completely match my skin tone. This shade is very pink, which doesn't suit everyone but I have a lot of pink in my skin so I absolutely LOVE this shade. I find it to be quite hydrating, it blends away to nothing easily. I mainly use this with a beauty blender because I prefer a sheer coverage. If you are looking for a (more expensive) dupe for Clinique Airbrush, I highly recommend this!
Better than the YSL Touche Eclat!
I have always sort of been on the fence about Touche Eclat, but I love Touche Expert! It's great for covering imperfections and slight redness and works for more than just an under eye concealer! I also feel like it erases dark shadows with just a thin amount. The coloring number system is a bit odd. I'm very fair Charlotte Tilbury shade 3 Cover FX P20-P40 and the number 4 Touche Expert is perfect for me. I also love the sleek packaging and appreciate how easy it is to use for concealing and highlighting. Plus you can throw it into your purse for quick touch ups on the go.
Works well but slightly drying
I like to use this product to cover any blemishes and conceal my dark circles; it does a great job concealing my dark circles when used along with Bobbi Brown Corrector. While it works well concealing and brightening, I have noticed that if you apply too much of the product it will start to cake and if your eyes are on the drier side it will start to flake. So you have to be careful to apply just the right amount of product and be sure to moisturize. I apply this product using the built-in brush and blending it in with my ring finger and most of the time I don't have a problem with the caking or flaking. The product is extremely similar to that of Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Eclat, and since they're created by the same person it's no surprise. Overall I'm very pleased with the product but I can't get over the caking and flaking, I like products that are very low maintenance, so I would love to try the Touche Eclat and see if that's any better. I'd recommend this to a person who has the money and is willing to spend it, but if you don't have that kind of luxury I wouldn't splurge on it.
