Terrybly Densiliss Primer

I mortally despise the price but the product is STELLAR. My makeup lasts longer, it’s a lot more friendly to a variety of foundations, and it feels so nice on the skin. I wanted a lesser priced version of the primer every YouTuber talks about under this brand, and while this price isn’t great, the amount of product you get really does make it worth it. I have oily/sensitive skin too, so I was surprised this primer works as well as it does.

This is a very good primer and my makeup lasted all day and gave my foundation a youthful glow. However after trying the sample I realized I personally couldn't justify the price. When compared to my Giorgio Armani primer that I currently use I truthfully couldn't see any difference in how my makeup looked or lasted on me. Therefore while it's a terrific primer, it's just not for me due mainly to the price.

I’ve tried a ton of primers but didn’t fall in love until By Terry. It's expensive, but one pump is enough to cover my entire face, and the bottle has lasted me six months with daily use. Why is this a non-negotiable part of my morning routine? It blurs imperfections, smooths the skin, and helps foundation both apply like a dream and last forever. I’ve tried it over both physical and chemical sunscreens, and with a variety of foundations, and it has yet to disappoint.

And much to my delight, I recently discovered that it is gentle enough for my incredibly sensitive eyes! The skin under my eyes is very dry so I can't go without an eye cream, but this often makes concealers move, crease, and separate. A tiny dab of primer is the perfect barrier that allows me to stay hydrated and as free from dark circles as possible, especially when used with By Terry's Densiliss concealer.

I use the primer in conjunction with anti-aging skincare, and it does not irritate my acne prone skin one bit (in fact, my adult acne is virtually gone). As my skin has cleared, I find myself applying less and less foundation, made possibly in part due to the color correcting, flawless finish of this primer.

I had this on my wish list for a long time before finally taking the plunge! This is a beautiful primer with skincare benefits. It smooths over skin, even dry patches or blemishes, very easily and makes for a beautiful base for makeup. It does not leave a white cast at all, and I did not notice any skin evening. It does leave a satin canvas though which isn't shiny but not flat either. I find the biggest plus is this is silicone free and doesn't roll on top of my skincare products or under my foundation!!! I don't feel that it particularly extended the wear of my foundation, but then again every single foundation disappears from my face no matter what so it's definitely not the fault of this product. I cannot comment in particular on any skincare benefits I've noticed while wearing it because I have a whole routine and cannot attribute anything in particular to this product. it certainly did not worsen the condition of my skin in any way, or irritate it and i have sensitive skin very prone to redness. I highly recommend for those looking for a good quality primer that gives foundation a fresher and smoother appearance while providing skin care benefits. Is it worth the price? this is a very difficult question to answer bc it's different for everything. I would seriously consider repurchasing once I run out!

Every year as it inches near by birthday, I go through each step of my skincare routine and see if I can improve on it. I've decided that every product I put on my skin should have skin care benefits and not just be "good makeup". A primer should not only make my foundation last longer and look smooth but also help me maintain youthful skin. This primer has amazing ingredients as all BY TERRY products do. I actually apply my spf light lotion (let it absorb 15 min) and then use the BY TERRY Terrybly Densiliss Primer as both my moisturizer and primer. It's pricey for a primer. It's pricey as a moisturizer but if you can use it as both?! I say it's definitely worth it. It's a nice, creamy serum so it actually hydrates your skin without making it feel greasy. I find that foundation can be applied almost immediately after you use this. If you're using a serum foundation like I am - YOU NEED THIS. Don't make the mistake of using serum foundations without a proper primer that is also serum - it will never look amazing as serum formulations needs to absorb into the skin to really work well. It smells beautiful and goes on even better. You can really tell BY TERRY uses the best ingredients simply by how your skin absorbs it.
