Surprisingly wearable.
I have the gold lava and being pretty pale I was afraid it wouldn't flatter me at all. It's actually very pretty and wearable. It's a little blinding but that's what I want in a highlighter and it's more flattering than you'd think on a lot of different skin tones.
So Light and Perfect
Opal is absolutely beautiful. When I want a more natural looking highlight, I definitely reach for this. It lasts all day and is extremely pigmented. If you're not ready to commit yet, this is usually one of the "gifts" for BECCA and other purchases/rewards and you can get a little mini sample of it.
Not the same quality as the mini version. If you can, just get the full size.
I bought the mini kit containing mini skin perfector and mini liquid highlight months ago and did not like it. During girls night, my friend applied the full sized pressed highlighter on me and I can totally notice the difference in quality. So, I purchased the full size during Black Friday sale and I'm liking the texture and quality of the full sized. The mini version accentuate pores, patchy, drying while the full sized does not do that. Minus one star because this highlighter isn't optimal if you're facial oil fan. I have dry skin and are huge fan of facial oil. This highlighter clumps into my facial oil, not a pretty sight.
Its cute and color is complementary but doesnt seem to blend well
I like the color to subtly highlights areas I wanted to highlight but minus a star because it took so much blending to achieve smooth blend that I desired. I'm using Sonia G pro cheek brush which is considered top of the line to buff this in but the product formula seems to settle in my skin texture and doesn't blend properly even after many efforts to blend and buff and blend and buff. Its cute but it highlights texture.
