Lays terribly on the skin...

I wanted to love this so bad, but I just couldn’t. I used this with their purple primer backlight or whatever, and it started to separate on my skin and just really patchy and weird! So I used it without any primer, and still the same thing happened.. I gave it to my mom so that she could try it, and it did the same thing to her. So we gave it to my sister and the same thing happened! Maybe I got a bad batch? Idk but I won’t wear it again.

I was skeptical about this but it came in a boxy charm box. I’ll be honest it far exceeded my expectations. It is quite heavy. And i could see it causing extra oil if you over use. But the coverage is quite flawless and full. It is smoothing but be careful not to use too much. I’d say this a wee bit thinner than Estée Lauder double wear but more fluid. Less wear proof. I’d say it’s def worth the price tho. Better than Dior forever, Lancôme 24 hour, tarte Amazonian clay, about as good as Stila stay all day, but not as good as KVD lock it. Or Marc Jacobs. I’d say top pick of those at least for the most part. Use less it goes far. Can get oily. Set with powder.

No - Just No.

I am in my 30s and have combo skin so I bought this thinking it would be perfect for me. It claims to be a foundation for all skin types with medium coverage and a radiant finish. Sadly, it did not give me the results I wanted. Here is my feedback based on my experience with this product and their claims:

Skin Types/Lasting Power: I do not agree that this is for all skin types. It slips off after a few hours and settles into fine lines and emphasizes texture you didn't even know you had. It also clung to any dry patches that I had. I tried using this multiple times with different primers and setting powders and no matter what I tried, I could not get this to work. I even tried mixing it with other foundations and still no luck. For reference, I did use two different BECCA primers with this foundation (Blurring and Backlight) and am meticulous with skin care and prepping my skin.

Coverage: I tried applying this product with a brush and a damp beauty blender. I did get better coverage with a brush but the finish was not as radiant and it looked really cakey on my skin. When I applied with a damp beauty blender, I went in with minimal product and got a light coverage. I prefer light coverage so this was okay with me. I definitely think you can achieve medium coverage, especially if you are using a brush.

Finish: I agree that this is radiant when you go in with a damp beauty blender and a light layer. I found it to me a bit more natural when using a brush to achieve higher coverage.

Shade: The shade Fair was a good color match on me. I found that it has pretty neutral undertones.

I gave it two stars because the consistency is really nice (not too liquidy and not thick) and it does have a nice radiant finish when using a beauty blender. However, the cons far outweigh the pros in my opinion. It just did not look good on my skin shortly after applying and I ended up looking pretty horrible throughout the day. I would not recommend this product if you have similar skin type as I do. I honestly do not think it would perform on oily or dry skin since it separates with any oil production and it clings really bad to any dry patches. Maybe if you have normal skin without any skin concerns (texture, fine lines, etc...) this would work. Sadly, I will not be repurchasing or recommending.

I love this foundation. It's definitely the best foundation i've tried for my dry sensitive skin. All other foundations just highlight the dry flakes around my nose and sit in the pores but not this one. The liquid formula is prefect for my skin, the shade will adapt to the skin color. I have medium and beige shade and although medium seems dark, both look exactly the same when applied on my face.

I wish this was better

I wanted to love this foundation so badly! I had heard it was beautiful on dry skin so couldn't wait to try it. When I first used it it was stunning, so glowy and beautiful. I thought I had found my HG foundation. The next time I tried it, it looked horrible, I had no idea what I had done wrong.

If you are going to wear this foundation, you need to really prep your skin. I needed a really moisturised base before applying this. You also need to shake the hell out of it before applying, because if not it will look patchy and awful. You also need to really work it into your skin and take your time with it otherwise it will sit on the top and look fake and splotchy. A beauty blender works much nicer than a brush with this as well. Also, be careful with the dropper applicator, I found my foundation leaked out the top and I was constantly cleaning the bottle despite always storing it upright and being very careful when opening and using.

In the end, this was too unpredictable for my skin and I couldn't reply on it to look the same every time. This may have just been my skin not liking it - other people seem to get along with it fine. When it came out right it looked amazing! But I have many other foundations that I prefer to this.

I really loved the idea of this foundation, however, it made me look super cakey. It took a while for it to settle and it didn't really stick onto my face well. From afar it looks flawless, but if you take a closer look, it's cakey and starting to seperate already.

not for me...

I have loved every Becca product that I have purchased. However, that is not the case with this foundation. I don't feel like it gives the coverage I need. Actually made my skin feel somewhat oily, which is not a good feeling. It does blend well! I just had to use probably 2-3 times the normal amount just to get decent coverage. Not a fan of the dropper either...

This is a nice foundation. 8 have normal to oily to dry skin and it sits nice on my face. Very smooth and VERY easy to blend. Not very good to apply powder on top though because then it looks cakey. Not very full covererage which is ok for me because I don't mind blemishes showing through . But if you want full coverage maybe this isn't for you. Very nice fresh feeling. Works well with other cream products.

Not impressed!!!! Coverage isn't great. Really disappointed considering the price of the foundation. I do like the dropper that is used for application. Just not for me. Have to use double what I normally would just to get decent coverage.

I love this foundation. It has great pigmentation and feels great on my mostly dry skin. Does not cling to dry patches. I actually use both light and beige to create the perfect color for my skin tone. If your skin is somewhat on the dryer side, give this a try.
