Fave
Bare minerals loose pigment eyeshadows are my favorite shadows to use. The color pay off is excellent, you can use a little for a subtle look or built it up for a more glamorous look. I have had my first of their shadows for 5 years, they last forever. The only negative thing I can say about it is there is some fall out. Besides that I would recommend these shadows to everyone.
I am not a fan of this brand, at least not the foundations, the coverage for me sucked but like the eyeshadows I bought. The starter kit shades are good and I got some neutral shades that I could wear to work. It worked best for me with a primer and and layering. If you are really into the whole mineral thing then I would definitely suggest this but it just was not for me.
meh, they're just OK
As will all the Bare Minerals products...just ok...i've tried a ton of their shadows...when I worked in a salon I actually brought my own make-up in for a brides, i just find the application is more of a pain in the a**, I love loose shadows....just not these...sorry
Great Loose Shadow
I never thought I would enjoy using a loose shadow. For me, it seemed far too messy and too much work. These little guys proved me wrong. For one, they are amazingly pigmented and they are surprisingly easy to work with. They will last me FOREVER because you barely need any to get a great amount of color. Obviously, because they are loose (if you use them dry) there will be some fallout but all you have to do to correct that is wet the brush first.
Highly Pigmented Fun Colors
BE makes great shadows that are highly pigmented and are not at all chalky. You have to have a delicate hand with them because they are loose powder and do have fall out when applying. Make sure you remember the BE cardinal rules of SWIRL and TAP before applying. I usually foil my colors for ease of application.
These are great for highlighting and all over neutral colors. I found their heavily pigmented ones rather difficult to control when attempting a smokey eye. Their more glittery colors don't irritate my sensitive skin and is easy to take off. It's a shame that they don't have a pressed powder line.
