Shine Attract Lipstick

This product is interesting for a variety of reasons, and some of them can be seen as a downfall but I think they work in some circumstances. I think the word "lipstick" gives you the wrong idea because I would call these a colour balm. They are really hyrdrating on the lips and they apply a sheer wash of colour, much like a balm and not a lipstick. The colour variety is good but I would avoid the brown shades. Got this for free with a few other products with one of Avon's promotions. Loved my other products, but this lipstick is totally rubbish! Firstly, if you were just to apply it on your lips as a normal lipstick, you have a line of gloss, a line of color, and a line of gloss.... not really a look I would go for. So when you apply it, I find there is a lot blending needed to get the lipstick to look normal. Then, there is so much "gloss" and the actual color doesn't adhere very well, so it's all a very slick (not in a good way) look. Then, for "shine attract", and "gloss" this is not at all shiny and glossy enough. I get more of a lip balm level of shine. And to top it off, after all the hassle, the color doesn't last AT ALL!

I have the shade cherry pie, the color goes on very unevenly. the gel outside is harder than the color in the center. it is very sheer and blotchy when applied and the color does not last long. This product is more about the hype then the quality of the product.

I had ordered some of these shine attract lipstick samples from Avon and I absolutely love them! They glide so perfectly onto your lips and your lips are left feeling soft and looking great with just the right amount of sparkle. This lipstick also lasts for hours which is great for women on the go!

I really do love these lipsticks. I realized that a lot of the complaints about lack of pigmentation are remedied by filling in the entire lip with a lip liner prior to using the lipstick. I have 5 different colors in these and will probably purchase more and I love how they look on. But, I always fill in my lips with a liner (no matter what lipstick or gloss I'm using - it's just a habit) and I found it makes the biggest difference in how these lipsticks look.. I love them and recommend them highly!

I thought the look of this was so cool that I decided to try it. I'm so glad I did. I believe the shade I have is rose pink? It's the light pink color. It gives my lips just the right amount of coloring with a good balance of shine. When I run out, I will definitely cry...

These aren't that great for me... The colours on the pages are not true for me at all... I will find out the colours that I have and I will find what the colours should be... I was hoping these would be good but to me they look orange and not correct.....
