Original Matte Lipstick

I absolutely love this color on my skin tone. It’s so flattering. This color definitely make my lips pop!

I don’t think Anastasia can ever get anything wrong. I love this formula, it’s not over-drying, it stays even after drinking and eating, and it’s a really pretty Matte that really covers but doesn’t leave annoying patchy spots. Would love to buy other colors.

I can’t get over how beautiful ORCHID is! I receive compliments every time I wear it. It’s very bold and fun! Also, it’s a very comfortable feeling matte. It doesn’t get too dry like many other brands.

it took me 36 years (assuming I've been searching for the perfect nude since the day I was born) but I found my FAVORITE NUDE. I have the ABH nude mini set and that's what introduced me to ABH mattes -- I'm so happy I bought that. now I have a full size in Spice (one of the colors in the set), Stevie (Its a beautiful 90s-ish type of nude) and Plumeria (an upbeat berry color - I found look beautiful with a plum shade blush). I love them all, but Spice is my ride or die. I use my "mini" spice on my cheeks as a cream blush of sorts and my full sized Spice on my lips. I'm high maintenance and have asymmetrical lips, so I use a lip brush to apply to it. I love Spice... can't you tell? :)

It was exactly what I wanted. Wish you offered a lip pencil to go with it, or a slightly lighter shade of pink to overlay.

I finally found the perfect matte lipstick. Very pigmented, Goes on smooth, doesn't bleed and a little goes a long way. I own several liquid lips but they are too drying. This formula is so light, can barely tell its on, and it lasts!!! Ruby is a true, beautiful red that doesn't stain the lips. I also purchased cool brown, latte, Stevie, dead roses, and rogue. Love all of them. Did arm swatches and they are all different and unique even though some look the same. Plan to definately buy the entire collection.

Got these in the dusty mauve and rum punch colours, these are very pigmented, really easy to apply and look beautiful.

They are a bit dark for my liking but I will still wear them for winter as they are so nice.

Okay it is a true taupe as promised.

It is a true matte.

Application is not patchy. There is more tugging than a satin lipstick but that is to be expected.

This is comfortable compared to a liquid lipstick. It has less tug than a retro matte from mac or a ultra matte from melt, but it is not as creamy as a amuse bouche from bite. Hope that helps!

Wear time is pretty good and it fades nicely.

I love this dark dusty rose shade, it goes well with a lots of looks and it lasts for 8 hours or so, the wear is pretty comfortable as well

I am always hesitant when it comes to traditional matte lipsticks. They seem to always feather on me or be too dry and uncomfortable.

Anastasia definitely hit the nail on the head with this formula!

When you first apply these, you can immediately tell how great they feel. They glide on so effortlessly and in one swipe, you achieve true, full pigment.

These have never feathered on my lip lines, which is a big plus in my book and come in such a beautiful variety of shades. Very modern and trendy, but they are wearable and gorgeous.

Right now my favorites are definitely Stevie, Ruby and Staunch, but I can't wait to get my hands on more. If you love traditional lipsticks, give these a try. I am sure you will fall in love with the formula as much as I have ;-)
