Just don't like the colors.
Almay makes good products, their color choice is just off! The product itself is buildable so you're able to make it as light or as dark as possible, save the darkest shade, that one is a bit heavy and to get it light only about two hairs on your brush get to have pigment on them. With this specific palette though it's almost as if the pink shade was so light that it didn't look like I put anything on where as the darkest shade was so heavy it looked like I was in a bar fight. It was definitely a balancing act trying to get this trio to work for me. Also I'm not a fan of the silver color at all. It just didn't look very nice on me.
Not the best, but nice!
The eyeshadow itself has a very soft, velvety textures. The gold is really nice. It's my favorite gold shadow. Unfortunately, the brown shade looks a little too murky on my skin tone, so I don't care for it too much. I'm also not quite sure why the highlighting shade takes up 1/2 of the palette. It's an odd light cream shade with a purple shimmer ( yes, it sounds odd). I've tried this look out following the instructions on the back of the package, and it does definitely bring out the gold in my eyes. It's pretty inexpensive, and I think the gold shade is worth it.
Perfect Smokey Eye!
I used this is an Homecoming Tutorial and I loveddd it! I think it is the perfect drugstore eyeshadow palette for a night time smokey eye. The colors are hightly pigmented, but I feel like the best color is the crease/outer-v color! It's so dark and beautiful! Overall, they are all nice colros and I only got it for a dollar at the Dollar Store, a total steal! :)
Pros: - Nice pigmentation - Price - Beautiful colors
Cons: - Some more pigmented than others
