Great colour range

This line of Revlon nail polishs have a range of colours that are more fun. This formula is quite thick and it does dry out in the bottle faster. I have a good collection of this as well, but I think that sometimes the colours are too opaque and harder to work with. With flat shades and the thickness of this formula I find that two coats will make it more smooth. In th description it says that these are quick dry, but I find that these dry at the same time that normal polish dry. These are long lasting if you use a base and top coat to seal it. I have recommend this line to a lot of friends and they have all liked the range colour.

Favourite shades: Pink Lingerie, Vintage and Hazy

Great smell

I bought this in the shade Gum Drop, which is a pale lavender. When you paint this polish on, it just smells like any normal nail polish, but after it dries the polish smells like candy! It's such a good smell and it actually lasts for a couple of days. I have to say that this polish formual is just like any other Revlon polish. Although I find that with one coat of this it is opaque enough for me. If you apply two coats of this shade, the changes slightly than what you see in the bottle. Over all these scented ones have a good range of colour and it is a good price as well.

Orange is the shade

This is a horrible nude lipstick for me. When you look at the colour in the tube, it looks like a beigh nude. As soon as you put this lipstick on it turns to this orange concealer colour! If you apply more than one coat of this it gives you a dead look but slightly orange... The formula is thick and chalky. It dries really fast and even if you apply a lip balm underneath it doesn't really help. There are a lot of great nude shades of drugstore lip sticks around the same price range or cheaper, go for those ones. This is a miss!

Good classic colours

This is a very good priced drugstore nail polish. There's always sales of these at my local drugstores. Revlon also has a good section of classic colours for this nail polish. I have a good collection of these from light shades to dark shades. The opacity of these are very good, the colour you get from these is what you see. With some of the flat colours, I find that you will need to apply 2 coat to get a smoother finish to them. Otherwise I find that with one coat of a flat shade, it tends to get streaky. If you apply a base coat and a top coat this polish will last me a good 1 week without any major chipping. For the good price of this product, and the good colour that it gives, I would recommend this product.

Another mascara miss

This one was a complete miss for me. This was one of the first drugstore mascaras I've ever bought. This was raved about a lot, but I have to say that it does nothing for me. This is a dark formula and that's about all good things I can say about it. The wand as it says is straight, but it's rather small so you need have many strokes to fill the whole eye. You do get clumps if you try to apply 2-3 coats of this mascara. I would not recommend wearing this product alone because it does not hold a curl, give length or build volume. For me the only way that I could use this mascara was for the dark colour. I would layer this one with another mascara. This is an affordable product, but there are so many better drugstore mascaras out there that can give you the dark colour and everything else that you are looking for.

Total miss

This mascara has a really wet formula. and it comes with a rubber wand. I bought this in the colour black. This mascara does absolutley nothing for me. There is no length, no volume, no definition and it does not help to hold a curl. It makes your curled lashes PIN STAIGHT after just one gentle application. Even when I tried layering this mascara with other mascaras it still did nothing. When I purchased this it actually was a 2 for 1 deal, but now these 2 tubes of mascara just sit around unused. I think this mascara would work well for someone that has full, long and naturally curled lashes, otherwise don't really expect this product to work for you.

Not bad

I had bought this to try during IMATS. This brush has a bit more bristles than a normal eyeliner brush (such as MAC's 210), so it draws on more of a thicker line. I think with this brush there is a bit less control over just the thickness but it's more stiffer than other eyeliner brushes that I've tried too. That actually made this brush smoother for applying gel liner. I also like how this brush is black, and it's very easy to clean. It seems to be less flimsy in comparison to the other eyeliner brushes that I have as well; that could be because the brush if thicker. I think this is a good brush to have in your kit; if you want to draw on more dramatic eyeliner this is a good tool to have.

Good colour

I was so excited to find NYX cosmetics at one of my local grocery stores. It's not a product that I can find often in my area. There wasn't a whole lot to of NYX products to choose from, so I picked out this lip gloss. I have to say that I really like the formula of this gloss, it's a nice smooth formula that does have good staying power. In the tube it's quite pigmentated, but it does come out more sheer on the lips. It has a nice nude shimmer colour to it on your lips. I think this gloss is great to layer over a lip colour to give some shine or create that fuller lip look. The glitter and shine on this product isn't too crazy, it has really fine glitter so it's gives your lips a bit of shimmer. This lip gloss is also great to wear alone, you can just pop some of this on to your bare lip to give it more of a natural look. I'm happy with the packaging as well, there's this really cute bow on the tip of the wand applicator. I also like how the tube is full of product so there is minimal packaging wastage. Also the wand for this is a sponge applicator, in a good size and what I like most about it is that it is angled slightly. The only thing that I don't like about this gloss, is the flavour. It is a cherry kind of flavour but it's not too strong. Over a period of time, the flavour of the gloss goes away, but it really isn't that pleasant initally. Overal I would recommend this product, and I think I'll be purchasing other shades as well since it is such an affordable price.

Interesting concenpt

This was a well saught out product and it was ALWAYS sold out everywhere I went. I finally got my hands on a bottle. I love the effect that it gives to your nails, although I find that covering all my nails with this product was too much for me (I opted for a French manicure style with accent fingers). It was a bit harder to apply, since it seemed to dry up pretty fast. Usually the OPI formulas are more liquidy and it gives you a lot of good control when applying. For some reason the Shatter was more goopy. It was still workable but just more messy. I would recommend this product for the interesting effect that it give, it's a fun design and concept.

LOVE

I love this base coat. Ever since having this product recommended to me from a friend I've been using this base every time I do a manicure. When this is applied it dries quickly and helps colour polishes go on smoothly. This products stops dark colours from bleeding into my natural nail. It also helps to keep your manicure for up to about one and a half weeks. I have also found this product to be a great adhesive for putting on gems for nail art. It keeps the gem from budging or falling off for much longer than your manicure will last. Although this is a pricer product, I think it's worth the splurge if you want to keep your natural nails healthy and your manicures last longer.
