Bad packaging but amazing product.
I have this in two shades, Perversion-dark black, and it's the blackest black liquid liner EVER. I also have Oil Slick which is described as a black w/ sparkles, but to me it's more of a grease color, more of a dark brown-black. It's better for a more toned down look. The product itself is top of the line, and lasts all day, which is a rarity for me because not only are my lids oily, but my eyes tend to water a lot! Also, this product doesn't flake off, and doesn't irritate my contacts! It's easy to remove as well, and there is no rubbing required to get it off! My only gripe w/ this product is the packaging. Urban Decay, your packaging is adorable, I'll give you that one... But the product gets goopy because of the opening, and it can get all over your hands if you don't clean the inside of the tube w/ a q-tip every time you use it. If you don't clean the opening, the product builds up, and you can't close it properly, and the liner dries up! Ahhh! Please change the packaging! But until then, I'll just continue to clean the opening and be OCD, because this is the only liquid liner that stays on my eyes.
Beautiful shade, but dupe-able.
I have a few of these lipsticks, and I must say the colors are deff. gorgeous, but I find them all pretty average. I say "average" because the colors AREN"T so unique, you can't find something that's similar for a better price. This is definitely a luxe product, a special treat, a lipstick that's good as a gift. The packaging is elegant, flashy, and very feminine. The texture of the lipstick itself is like butter! But being soft like butter means you go through it pretty fast. :)
HOLY GRAIL SHEET MASKS.
I have tried many different sheet mask from the "My beauty Diary" range, & let me tell you, not all masks are treated equally! This one not only hydrates the skin, but brightens the skin, and gives it a luminous look. I feel like an angel after i use this mask, and w/ continued use, I feel like this has also helped my skins texture. My skin is youthful, plump, and extremely soft, and this is deff. one of the reasons why. Deff. give this mask a try if you've noticed that your complexion has been looking dull/ or sallow lately. A great treat, and great on a summer day because it's nice and cold! :)
P.S. imomoko.com runs 20% off promotions on the whole Beauty Diary Mask range from time to time, so deff keep a look out for sales-great time to stock up!
Not worth the pricey tag/gave me a milia breakout
This product to me was a complete and utter fail. It didn't absorb into skin, but it felt like it just sat on top of my skin and made it greasy looking. I used it religiously too, hoping that if I gave it a chance, it would magically work for me like it had worked for others. Nope, fail. I am also prone to milia. Those little white protein sacs that can form under your skin. This made it worse! :( So if you're prone to milia, deff avoid this product.
Worth the Splurge!
This has been my favorite lip balm since I was in high school! I live on the East Coast, so when fall comes around, it can not only get cold, but windy! & with the windy weather comes chapped lips! This balm melts right into the lips, and you can feel that it's been absorbed. It doesn't sit on top of your lips like other lip balms do. You can actually feel it doing good for your lips, because your lips are instantly moisturized and have that "healthy" look. It's non-greasy, and also doesn't have that heavy waxy feel like others. It goes on clear btw, so if you do choose to apply it before lipstick, it doesn't alter the color at all. :) Great when your lips need a little TLC, great to wear under lipstick, and since it comes in a big pot, it can last me over a year. So if you do that math, $17 is cheap because you're paying less than a $1 a month. A luxe product indeed, but soooo worth the splurge!
It's called Blu Ray for a reason! :D
I have this in shade #10 Light. For color reference, I'm a mac nc15-20! I'm more of a neutral based Asian gal (rarity) so it can be difficult to find a powder that sits between warm and cool tones. But this is deff a winner! I can wear this over my moisturizer, and wear it as a powder foundation and it give me medium coverage. My redness is covered up, as well as a scar I have on my cheek. If I'm going out and I want more of a full-flawless finish, I'll use this to set my liquid foundation. It stays put all night, doesn't cake, and my oils don't come through. This powder looks amazing in pictures, it has def earned it's blu ray name! There is no need for photoshop, because this powder is an instant airbrush in a quick and easy application. It doesn't look powdery, and doesn't need a setting spray to stay put. The powder itself is pretty soft though, therefore I recommend applying this before you change into that little black dress. Because the powder is soft, the dust can get all over your clothes! You have been warned! Other than that, the powder is extremely smooth, and is easily blended into the skin. It's non irritating, and is even easy to wash off! A must have for anyone who takes photographs often, or anyone who just wants that airbrushed look in powder form.
My little secret.
This is not only great for opening up the eye and giving a more rested and awake appearance, it's a good confidence booster. I wear this when I am going for the "no make up" look This paired with a little winged liner it to die for as well. Invest in this a nude liner people, white eyeliner is a thing of the past! Lasts long on the waterline, and doesn't irritate my contacts. :) Not only a staple in my make up bag, but my little secret. This can be found& bought in Target! :)
