My favorite nail and cuticle oil. I love that it smells like almonds, because it's made with almond oil! It really helps my manicures stay shiny and last longer because when my nails dry out, they start chipping on the tips. I just wish this oil would soak in faster or come in a pen form. I've ruined many papers with my greasy post-Solar Oil fingers!
Love this stuff. I actually use the Yellow shade on it's own to balance out my complexion. I know, I know, it's supposed to be a makeup primer, but when I don't feel like wearing foundation, this yellow shade neutralizes any weird red splotches on my face and leaves me looking radiant. It also helps to calm down the white face I get from my sunscreen.
Even though they're probably less eco-friendly, I prefer these blue plastic-y sheets to traditional blotting papers. Sometimes I go overboard with the sunscreen and tinted moisturizer and my face looks like a greasy mess. This works better at sopping up the extra moisture without looking too dry. Paper blotters tend to absorb too much, leaving my face dry and even a little cakey and wrinkly! And these blotting sheets don't smudge my makeup, unlike blotting papers.
Smells like a tropical vacation
I love how soft this body oil makes my skin feel and the tropical flower scent is heavenly--better than perfume. But I only gave it 3.5 stars because the product tends to solidify in the bottle (all the natural oils turn solid in colder temperatures) and then you have to submerge the bottle in warm water to melt the oils enough so that they come out. After a few of these hot water baths, the burgundy on the outside of my Moisture Melt bottle is peeling off! Sadness.
My favorite long-lasting foundation
This is hand-down, my favorite foundation ever. My shade is O40. It's a little dark on it's own, but when I layer it over my sunscreen in the morning, it's perfect. The most amazing thing is how long-wearing this foundation is. Even if I sweat, the foundation stays put.
My must-have brush for smoky eyes
I have a monolid (no eyelid crease) and this is my go-to brush for easy smoky eyes. Don't be misled by the picture above, when you actually start using the brush, it's not as pointy. Think a stubby rounded pencil. The shape is perfect for blending out my eye pencil and adding shadow on top for beautiful smoky eyes.
