I LOVE the smell of this conditioner--fruity peach, SO delicious. But unfortunately, it's just an okay conditioner. It doesn't magically detangle my hair as I hoped and I have to use quite a lot to give my hair the conditioned slippery feeling that I like. It's expensive, so not worth it, even though it smells amazing.
I like to apply a few drops of the Moroccanoil Light to my hair ends if I want to air dry my hair to a messy beachy wave look (my hair is naturally wavy but tends to frizz--No, not all Asian girls have silky straight hair). The only problem is that this product contains a lot of silicone (it may be called oil, but it's not 100% oil) and I find that if I use it regularly, my hair starts feeling very dry and hay-like.
This reminds me of a glamorous, grown-up version of Noxzema. I swear, it smells just like Noxzema, which takes me back to my high school days (in a good way). I love the cloths that this cleanser comes with--they're super soft cotton and help exfoliate gently. However, there are just too many active ingredients in this cleanser (Eucalyptus gives it that Noxzema-like smell) for me to use it every day--after a week of continual use, my cheeks start looking a little flushed and irritated. So I save it for when I'm in the mood for a spa-like deep cleanse.
I have combination/sensitive skin and I like to use this cleanser at night, after I pre-wash with Shu Uemura cleansing oil. My skin looks brighter and no breakouts--yay! My face is also smoother--I think it slightly exfoliates, but very very gently. I took off half a star because the pump tends to leak, which wastes quit a bit of the product.
Still my favorite for removing the super sunscreen (Shiseido) I like to use. The oil really helps to break down the sunscreen. If I just use a regular cleanser, I feel like the sunscreen still leaves a film on my face and I have to follow up with a toner. If I use this Shu Cleansing oil, I follow up with a cleansing foam (I like lather) and my face feels perfectly clean.
Amazing stuff. This makes my skin supersoft and gives it a pretty sheen (subtle, with no additional bronzing or shimmer--it's just an oil, not a bronzer). The vitamin A helps exfoliate and really reduced the KP chicken bumps on the back of my arms (after a couple of days use, there were only a few bumps left and I could barely feel them). I also love the smell, it reminds me of Chanel Cristalle. I took off half a star because the oil tends to leak out of the bottle, leaving a greasy ring on the counter.
I usually love thermal mascara formulas, but this Fiberwig mascara smudged on me in about an hour. I was really disappointed considering all the advertising that it's so amazing. I also didn't find the fibers to be as lengthening or natural-looking (it was very clumpy) as other formulas (there was a Mary Quant mascara that I got in Japan years ago that was my favorite fiber mascara). Not for me.
