Didn't work for me

My hair doesn't need a whole lot of moisture, so this conditioner was a bit too rich for me. Bummer because it smelled delicious (like strawberries) and was fairly reasonably priced. I ended up pawning it off on a friend, I wasn't a fan of the greasy effect it gave me.

Complaint is the price.. lol

It's about $28 CAD before taxes for a smaller bottle of this. I've heard some reviews on youtube and I remembered people saying how great it smelled: I think that's part of why I can't commit 100% to Body Envy by Redken. It's not really volumizing but my hair is by no means limp, It smells DELICIOUS, really tropical. But the formula doesn't really like my hair that much... it definitely tangles more. Easy fix. I'll figure out my hair routine to work around it... I think bringing a wide tooth comb into the shower to help with conditioner will help. :)

This still isn't my go-to shampoo. It works well, lathers wonderfully, and definitely helps thicken. It has a nice smell, too. :) it just doesn't really compare to my body envy.

Oops. After my hair got healthier and I noticed how bad my All Soft was reacting, I decided to give Herbal Essences a shot. I loved it. It lathered up super nicely. It smelled divine and super fruity... I didn't realize what it really did to my hair. It irritated my scalp and stripped my hair of it's natural oils. I still recommend Organix, which is double the price.. but it's better for your hair. At least in my experience.

My old holy grail

I used this shampoo religiously for two years. My hair was super damaged and I wasn't ready to make the move to cut it all off to get a fresh start. It worked wonderfully for me. The smell was super clean and soft. It was creamy. It gave my hair some killer shine. It was expensive for someone who didn't even have a part-time job but I had no problem spending my allowence on it. The only reason I stopped using it was because my hair is now a lot more healthy. It doesn't need the extra moisture and if I were to continue using it, it would weigh my hair down or make it look greasy. Or both. But that doesn't mean that I don't remember how awesome it was!

My mom had some of this left and when I was out of my Redken All Soft and my Organix in the fall I used it twice. Never again. I went into my salon and asked if I could talk to my stylist for a second. My scalp was completely broke out, my hair was dryer than normal. She asked me what I was using and I told her. She didn't seem surprised that a Dove product had that reaction on my scalp. If you're in the market for something cheap, try the Organix line.
