Blends amazing - beautiful multidimensional payoff
I got this one and the JStar Frost palette (because I couldn't decide) and nothing holds up to Anastasia's formula. The JStar palette is incredibly chalky and almost like loose glitter in a pressed palette and does not blend nice at all. As always, Anastasia KILLS the makeup game !! Although I enjoy the not-so-common colors that Jeffree uses, the quality just doesn't hold up to other brands. :/
I have Snocicle, Candy Apple, and Present
Candy Apple and Present are not true to color. Candy Apple looks very red and not dark red, Present is a red plum and not very purple. These glosses are VERY sticky, in order to get an opaque coverage like the company swatches you need to do 2-3 layers. Once you get those couple layers on it goops up and starts traveling to the inside of your mouth and teeth and feathering VERY badly. They work OKAY on top of lipsticks, there is still feathering, I would only recommend one layer on top of your lipstick, and it wears off in less than an hour so it takes constant reapplying. The only gloss I like is Snocicle. Since it's a clear gloss with glitter you don't have to wear but one layer, however the glitter is very gritty feeling on your lips. The brush is very small so I would not recommend wearing Snocicle on top of lipstick because you're going to get the lipstick pigment inside the bottle and change the color because it takes a lot of dipping to get enough gloss to cover your lips because of the brush size.
I love the colors but the brush isn't always good quality.
I have every color (some multiples of the same colors) except for Rhyme and Reason and most of my uniliners came with the brush perfect or only a hair out of place that I had to cut off. I had two brushes, Quill and Lunar Sea, both came with uneven bristle ends on the brushes which make them a lot harder to use for precise applications. When I am doing thick cat eyes, then I use those two eyeliners, but my Kat Von D liquid tattoo liner is the most precise brush out of my eyeliner sets. I do find the Lime Crime brushes (when the brushes come even) the easiest to use for cat eyes. I just run it across my eyes with little care and I come out with perfect cat eyes every time. The brushes are malleable so they move around the contour of your eyelid fairly easily which is what makes their application so much better for me. Also, if your eyes have a lot of creases these eyeliners WILL CREASE. The white one and the light blue one are the two that are the most noticeable with creasing.
I use it all the time and barely scratched the surface
It is VERY pigmented, even without a primer, although not as bright without, but the palette is great for a blue/green smokey eye by itself or to layer with other colors. Sugarpill is the best in quality, bright eye shadows and they have something for everyone. If you prefer even more OOMPH in your makeup looks I would purchase their loose eye shadows. This palette is awesome though, and I definitely recommend this and the Burning Heart Palette as well as their loose eye shadows.
