About Me

My name is Alejandra, I know its a long name so I also go by the name of Ahlix (Pronounced like ALEX). Recently I Started my own Beauty Channel called MsAhlix. Through out High School and part of College I was obsessed with Make up, even though I was not allowed to wear foundation or anything black on my face. Those were my moms rules until I turned eighteen. I steered away from it for a while and I have no idea WHY!?? I was introduced to the YouTube Beauty Community by my sister who was researching videos on how to put in Your Hair Extensions. She showed me other videos featuring Makeup recommendations, reviews, halls and so on. After that I was hooked and became obsessed all over again. Something inside me was reawaken, started Keeping up with my Makeup All over Again and I Loved it. After months and months of Debating I finally worked up the guts to film and Upload my First Video. I figured it wouldn't hurt me to try. After I uploaded my first video I checked the views everyday and they were not increasing. It was so discouraging. I told my sister that I sucked and she told me to keep making videos because things would not just change over night. So here I am, still making videos. My views have improved little by little. Of course they are not thousands but I Appreciate and Thank everyone that has watched one of my videos. Every time I gain a new Subscriber I feel butterflies in my stomach, they are of Nerves and Happiness! I had been Struggling with video editing and Picture Quality, but I feel like I'm getting the hang of it now. I am so happy to be here on YouTube and Sharing my Videos Via Beautylish. There are so many Beautiful Talented Girls here in this community and I love talking to you guys. So don't be shy and send me a message or leave a comment.
