I'm not exactly sure what you are asking but I will try my best.
If you are trying to hid a curtain color on your skin you want to go with a color that is opposite on the color wheel so that it becomes neutral. Then you can cover it up with your concealer. I, not sure how to explain but here is a video to watch that I think would help. I now it's for bride makeup but she goes into so much detail on things that I feel it will help a lot.
