Good but not great!
This blot tissue is a good alternative to pressed powder. It is definitely more compact than a pressed powder compact but not as compact as other blot papers/tissue. The upside is that you have a bigger piece of tissue to remove the oil with. I reckon this to be a very good product to invest in especially if you want to keep your makeup on without the shine.
It's a decent cleanser
I'm a big MAC fan but this doesn't get alot of play in my makeup kit. I used to crave this product until I realized the money I spent I could be buying more makeup. I now cleanse with products from home and condition them with products from home as well. Good if you need something quick.
Built-In Beauty
How can you not love a concealer that has a built in wand? How can you not love a concealer that actually moisturizes your skin while you wear it?
You can't. This tube has a moisture formula that provides great coverage and exact hydration for your skin. To top it all off it comes with an applicator inside of the top so that you can avoid messy mishaps.
When I'm lazy or in a rush I whip this out and apply it in a flash. I use a flat medium sized concealer brush to spread and blend then set it with a loose translucent powder.
Delightful
Since starting my MUA adventures I have come to love this tinted moisturizer. It is really lightweight and lightly tinted to achieve the desired sheer result. When making over clients that don't need full coverage I use a bit of concealer and then apply this moisturizer. It gives them a glow but doesn't look like they have makeup on at all. Best product you can use especially in the summer for a naturally flawless appearance.
Primed for perfection
I could never ditch this primer for another. I have combo skin and it works great for me on every inch that I apply it to. My foundation goes on silky smooth and remains that way for the whole day. I do have to do touch ups but without this primer I would have to redo my whole face. I dig this primer.
The main ingredient in the product is silicone...if your skin is oily you may want to find a silicone based oil control primer or switch foundation.
Fixated
Unless you have a very strong fix or eye primer...it wont do you any good to buy this $20 product. I bought New Fixation and knew that I would have a good time experimenting with it. Of course I have tried it wet with water, with my favorite fix, on my primer and with Visine. Looked better with the Visine and the fix.
Light and airy
I wear this product solo sometimes just to give me a more natural look and feel. Although I have used it under my Studio Fix it looks just as good as a primary foundation. It is not heavy and blends evenly throughout the application process.
Consider it concealed!
Imagine finding a coverage so powerful that you can fit it in the palm of your hand...Well, this is it. I love the flawless coverage and the solid consistency of this concealer. I use my fingers to apply it because you only need that much on any area that you are using it on. When I need to waterproof I use MAC's paint pot underneath it...Must have!
FIRST AND FAVORITE
I wear this shade all year long since my skin stays pretty much the same shade. I would really have loved to give it five but because it oxidizes are a rapid rate you have to continue to blot or apply pressed powder to do oil control. This is the first foundation that I started using outside of the drugstore and I have tried many different foundations and none are comparable. This foundation does give you complete coverage as well as that fabulous doll finish. I have three compacts that I keep: 1 for my makeup kit, one for my travel kit and one for my vehicle. Never without it!
