would not lather!

I really want to love this product...and I even did when I first purchased it! It is very calming for my skin and I loved the creamy consistency. Unfortunately, it just stopped lathering for me. The only parts of the bar I could get to lather was the cut side from when I cut the bar in half. The rest of the bar would not lather no matter what I did! I even tried to shave off the outside layer all around the bar, but it took too much time and did not work either. Because of that, I was a bit disappointed. However, I have never heard of in any other reviews of this product of the lathering issue, so perhaps I just received a dud. I would definitely be willing to try this again, even if it is just a small piece, because I really did like the product and, although a bit drying, my skin seemed to like it.

long lasting!

This polish is my favorite! I've found that it is the most chip-resistant brand that I have tried (and that includes OPI). My favorite color is "Mia" (second picture above), which is a perfect neutral pink. The only gripe I have with this polish is that it takes forever and a half to dry...I have to do my nails when I'm watching a long movie or something. I will definitely purchase more of this polish, though, because the color and how long it lasts is a good payoff to long how it takes to dry. It is also slightly cheaper than other brands.

Bubble Gum Lip Scrub

Like the other reviews here, this is also on the bubble gum flavor of the lip scrub. I don't think the bon bon is available anymore, as it was a Christmas product. Anywho, this lip scrub is a nice treat when my lips get really chapped. It works well to remove the flaky skin from my lips and leaves them nice and smooth. I'm not too big on bubblegum flavors in general, but I got this one because I loved the pink color! Overall, this is a very basic product that you could probably re-create with just olive oil and sugar (so most likely overpriced even by Lush standards), but the packaging and flavoring added makes this much more fun to use.

smells amazing!

I was pleasantly surprised by this shampoo bar! I had previously tried Soak and Float, and while I liked it...it just didn't cut it in the long run and was nothing spectacular. The moment my hair dried after using Godiva, it was super noticeably soft! Two days later and its still soft...can't stop running my hands through it! I only had to use a tiny bit of additional conditioner (since the bar is a 2-in-1). And the best part: the jasmine smell is divine and probably my favorite part about using this product. Love it!

My favorite palette!

I researched long and hard into what eyeshadow palette I should get (yes, this is the only eyeshadow I have). I needed to make sure it had neutral colors so I could wear it to work, and also because I'm more fond of neutral colors. I eventually decided on this one...though I was very torn between this and another Kat Von D palette. I usually use this when I have time in the morning and also on the weekends (so around once or twice a week maybe). For the day, the colors I use are "Downtown" (a light beige) and "Leather" (a dark brown) with "Tequila" as a highlight and they blend together beautifully. On the weekends I'll add in "Baroque". I haven't touched the green too much yet, but "Orbi" is very pretty and matches well with my winter/fall clothing. My mom always always compliments this eyeshadow whenever I have it on (and I wouldn't call her much of an eyeshadow lover lol). If I'm short on time, "Downtown" is the perfect neutral color to sweep quickly onto my lids!

fruity and sweet scent

I recently picked up one of the new lines of perfume at VS from their PINK line. The one I chose was called "Pretty & Pure". I picked it mostly because the bottle was adorable, but it was also one of the only scents out of the bunch that I liked. It was super cheap at $15 compared to other perfumes, and has a nice fruity scent to it. Not something I would wear during the winter or out to a fancy place, but a good, fun, everyday scent. It is very sweet and fruity so its perfect for summer.

Its okay

I had used Urban Decay's primer potion for a while, but when that ran out I wanted to try something new and this also happened to be slightly cheaper. Its a pretty good primer as far as keeping my eyeshadow in place goes. What I don't like about it is that it seems very greasy in comparison to Urban Decay. That could be because you have to apply it with your finger rather than a wand, but it just felt so oily to me. I think I will be going back to UD after I finish this.

my go-to blush!

I wear this blush everyday! Its easy to apply and I happen to love the brush, although thats my own preference because many people seem to dislike it. The color is a gorgeous peachy pink that will compliment basically any skin tone. Its perfect for a nice, natural look and will also give you a slight hint of sparkle.

Nice, but fades quickly

This is a great cheek stain, and I tend to use this on nights out or when I'm using a primer underneath because I notice that the color doesn't last too long. It is also a bit difficult to apply as opposed to a powder blush, but it gives a lovely dewy look which is totally worth it!

use moisturizer before applying!

I didn't really use concealer until my friend recommended this one to me. I'm on my 3rd pot now! It works really well for acne issues as well as covering minor under-eye circles (if you have heavy under-eye circles, this may not be for you). The consistency is really creamy as well, although it can be slightly drying. I always always put a moisturizer or eye cream under my eyes first before applying this, and I have found that has helped immensely to combat any drying properties this concealer may have.
