mmm wish this was edible!

I got this as a Christmas gift back in December. I absolutely love anything coconut scented, and this was no exception! I primarily use it as a body wash, although you can also use it as a shampoo and bubble bath. It smells delicious like coconut icing (duh!). I've used it on my hair a few times, and I've found that it makes me hair look super shiny. This is the first Philosophy body wash I have tried, and now I'm determined to try some more scents!

Average serum

The consistency of this product is very thin, and I've found that only a little bit is needed to cover my forehead (my face's acne HQ!). The active ingriedient in this serum is salicylic acid, which usually isn't very effective on my skin. Regardless, I have noticed that the few bumps I've had have faded away a little. Of course, this may be due to the mask I have been using as well. Overall, its a good product but I would probably suggest to keep your money on this one. There are many other products out there that are much cheaper that use salicylic acid, and I'm sure you can find one that use natural ingridients as well like Juice Beauty does but for less than 30 bucks. I did, however, find it more effective than Lush's grease lightening, which I am using as well.

Refreshing face mask

I've used this mask a few times so far. It is a gel consistancy and clear in color so I could not tell I had it on my face at all. I left it on for 10 minutes and then washed it off with water using my hands. My face felt really nice afterwards, though a tad bit dry. I'm not sure if it is in combination with the blemish serum sample that I've also been using, but I have noticed my acne dimishing this week. Unless I continue to see a noticible difference, I probably won't purchase this since it is so expensive. I will have to see how long it lasts. It seems to be gentle enough to use twice a week, so I've been using it twice during the week with my Lush face mask (BB Seaweed) on the weekend. It doesn't seem to be doing any harm to my skin, so I will continue using it.

Yum!

I've always loved the massage bars from Lush. They last forever and are super easy to use. I've found that I dislike the scents of most of them, though, but this is an exception. It smells like delicious strawberries, and the shape of it is absolutely adorable! I have had this for a very long time, and the smell is still very strong like when I first got it. It works great for massages (it might be too greasy to use as regular body moisturizer) and my boyfriend loves it as well!

Cinnamony Goodness!

I've recently started using this hair mask again. I hadn't purchased it in awhile because of the price, but I've found that my hair needed a little extra TLC because it was feeling very dry and damaged. You use this mask by applying it to dry hair and then shampooing it out. The amount you use depends on the length and thickness of your hair. My hair is rather thin but very long...even so I've noticed that I don't need as much as the directions require (definitely not half the pot!). I'm only halfway through the pot right now and I've use it 3 times. The smell, to me, is exactly like cinnamon. Its one of those smells that you will either love or hate. Many seem to think it smells like salad dressing, but I don't get that at all. The smell will also stay on your hair for a couple days afterward. My hair feels like silk after I use this, so even if you don't like the smell, give the product a chance! This is not something I would buy regularly (due to the price) but anytime I feel like my hair needs some extra help and pampering, I will be picking this up. :)

Amazing Body Cream!

This cream is a staple in my routine. Its ridiculously moisturizing, and especially great if you have really dry skin or are prone to skin problems such as eczema. Personally, I love body creams that you can feel on your skin for a while afterward...which could be interpreted as greasy for some people, so if you typically don't like being able to feel a cream on your skin after applying, this may not be for you. This is a must in the winter months, but I use it all year round. The smell is very clean...I believe its lavender scented. Its a bit pricey, but the pot is HUGE and will last a very long time.

"Joyful"

To be honest, I was expecting something a bit different from this product. The color is a bit light for my lips and very frosty and shimmery. This is not something that I would want to wear to work like I had originally planned. It also does not glide across my lips very smoothly, either. Actually...this product is exactly like the ChapStick True Shimmer, so if you're interested in this I would save a few bucks and just get that. The one thing I did love about this was the smell, which is super sweet strawberries, as well as the SPF which is always a plus. I will definitely use this up but would not purchase again.

Love this eyeshadow pencil! I use it everyday for my inner corners. The consistency is very creamy and it blends very well. It really makes my eyes look much brighter. My only gripe is that the cap is very cheap and cracks extremely easily (and I don't even put much pressure on it)...wish there was a more sturdy cap!

average balm but cute container

These lip balms are super cute, but unfortunately that's about all they are for me! I used to use the Honeysuckle one, which was a nice scent (although I would have preferred lemon) and the shape of the container was really cool at first, but eventually it became bothersome to open and use (especially when the round shape wears down to flatness). The actual product wasn't bad...a pretty average but nice lip balm, in my opinion. However, if I can find the lemon drop anywhere, I would think about giving this another try.

Unique Scent

I got this soap as a sample at Lush. They asked what type of soaps I liked and I told them anything creamy, so they said that noubar would work great for me. The scent of this soap is really interesting and I definitely like it! Its a very nutty scent and stays on your skin for a long time after your shower, which is a huge plus for me when it comes to scents. Its also very pretty in appearance (I'm using it almost as a bathroom decoration now). Overall, a fun soap to use and very creamy as well. I would consider purchasing a full bar.
