Great detangler!

This is fairly pricey, but so far it is one of the only leave-in sprays I’ve found that actually detangles hair. While leave-in creams have worked okay for me in the past (Garnier Frutis’s to be exact), I really much prefer sprays as I feel like they give me a more even application. The smell of this spray is seriously intoxicating. It blew me away when I first used it because I wasn’t expecting it to smell so strong. Its very minty and almost herbal/medicinal. I find that it really clears my senses, but I can understand how some people might find it a bit overwhelming. As for the product itself, it detangles my hair nicely, and I noticed that even when I hadn’t used conditioner on my hair that day, I can still comb through my hair without much trouble. The tea tree oil ingredient in this is also great for my scalp (although I do not get the “tingling” sensation that is described on the packaging). I tend to also use this on my curls before I go to bed, and I notice that it prevents a lot of the frizz from creeping up when I’m sleeping and makes my second day curls look decent (usually they’re so bad that they go up in a ponytail immediately!).

Super gentle!

I've just started using this cleanser 2x a day. Its incredibly gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized (I can't say any other cleanser has done that for me)...and best of all I only paid around $4 for it! I use it in combination with the Olay Pro-X Cleansing System (Clarisonic dupe =p) which provides a little extra exfoliation and leaves me skin super soft. The only thing I wish is that it was better at removing makeup. Even if I use this cleanser twice (once by itself, and again with the cleansing brush), not all of my makeup is removed...and I barely wear any to begin with! I use a makeup wipe beforehand, and then use this cleanser...I find that works best for me :)

Super gentle but effective!

Completely agree with Meera's review! My skin is a bit breakout-prone (especially on my forehead), so I decided to give this toner/mild exfoliant a try. I avoid toners with alcohol like the plague, so I knew none of Clinique's other toners would work for me (as well as a lot of toners on the market). This one is super gentle and does not leave my skin dry whatsoever (even more gentle than my Lush toner that I was using previously, which wasn't really doing anything noticeable for my skin). I love that this toner contains 0.5% salicylic acid because I don't need a separate BHA/exfoliant in addition to it. I really do wish that it contained at least 1% salicylic acid to help with blemishes, but I still find it to be effective.

Lovely smell!

I've never tried a milk bath before, so I was very excited to purchase this product! The smell is amazing and is a very strong lavender (and I mean strong...so if you're not a fan of strong scents or lavender, then this wouldn't be for you). My boyfriend even walked in the bathroom as I was taking a bath and remarked how nice it smells (and he usually either hates or doesn't notice the smells of stuff I get haha!). The bath was very relaxing and great for aromatherapy. It contains real lavender buds which float around the bath.

As for the actual product and claims, I didn't notice much difference in my skin being moisturized. I've tried goat's milk soap, which I've found to be very moisturizing, but I didn't find the same level of moisture in this milk bath. The water did seem "softer", if that makes any sense, but I wouldn't say my skin was that much softer than if I had taken a regular bath. However, this product still made me feel awesome and soothed because of the lovely lavender smell! The bag is also very large, so it'll last a long time!

Really like Tiger Lily!

I'm a lip balm junkie, and while I've been pretty much exclusively using Hurraw lip balms (which are amazing btw), I really wanted something that was tinted but not too dark. I passed this in the drugstore and couldn't resist! The color I chose was "Tiger Lily", which is a very nude peach. I'm not a fan of dark lip color (let alone lipstick or lip stains...I don't even like lip gloss that much) so this was perfect for me. The tint is very very subtle, so if you want a stronger tint I would go with a color other than Tiger Lily or Honeysuckle (the two nudes). It almost matches the color of my lips, but I can still tell there is a color there. Its very nice and natural looking! The formula is pretty moisturizing (although I do prefer Hurraw's formula) and is very smooth to apply. I definitely like the formula much better than the original Burt's Bees lip balm. Overall, I will definitely be purchasing this again in another color...most likely the Rose. :)

So glad I found this!

I’m pretty bad at doing my nails in general. I can’t seem to get the hang of how thick or thin the coats should be (not to mention I get it all over my cuticles), and a lot of time I have nails that end up being clumpy and definitely not smooth at all. After I applied the Seche Vite, I was amazed at how it evened out the application! You couldn’t even tell the places where the polish underneath was clumpy, because it evened everything out completely and also added a ridiculous amount of shine. And my nails were/are also super strong…its like they have a gel coating on them. Oh, and it dries in about 10 seconds (slight exaggeration maybe...but its fast!). After few days, I do have a couple small chips (which is to be expected when you’re cooking and cleaning and not being very gentle with your hands) but nothing compared to before when the entire polish on the nail would chip off at once. After a week, my nails still look great and I haven’t even picked at them or bitten them! (bad habit, I know). Hopefully using this topcoat will help me to stop doing that, thus making my nails grow longer and healthier.

Use this everyday!

This is a really great cleansing soap! I've been using it everyday for the past few months, and my skin has definitely seen an improvement. The charcoal, clays, and tea tree oil really help to fight acne, and I've noticed that products I use with these ingredients work much better for my skin than other acne products. My forehead used to break out with tons and tons of fairly large pimples quite often. Since I started using this, I've only had 1 or 2 breakouts so far (hormonal of course...ugh!) and even then, they were smaller pimples and went away quicker than usual. I have combination skin, so my forehead area is very oily while my chin area is dry and flaky, and this bar has not made my skin dry out at all in that area which is a huge plus! Also, the bar is quite huge and will really last you a long time (and for 7 bucks, thats a great deal!). Some other reviewers have expressed that it has an unpleasant smell. Personally, I don't notice the smell and find it very faint...but I would continue to use it even if it didn't smell that great, just because the results are worth it. :)

great sun protection

I’ve been wearing mineral foundation for so long, that it was weird to put something on my face that was liquid. The first thing that I realized is that this is not exactly a tinted moisturizer, moreso a light coverage foundation. You need to use a moisturizer before this unless you have really oily skin. The smell is basically sunscreen, which I kind of liked because it helped me to be assured that my skin was being protected. I was hoping that this wouldn’t dry my skin out too much, but unfortunately it caused dry flakes on my skin as I rubbed it in. I may apply it with a sponge applicator next time instead of my fingers. This is probably the major downside that I found with this product. I was not able to apply it as smoothly as I would have liked…if the formula was more like a moisturizer it would probably be easier. However, it did make my skin glow! (almost a little bit too much!…I threw on some powder on top of it). The tint is very very light, so wear concealer if you need to cover up any blemishes. I was a bit worried that the color I got, “light to medium” would be too light for me, but it was actually perfect. I think the medium may have been too dark. I found the sun protection to be very good. I was out all day in the sun, and neglected to put on any other sunscreen on the rest of my body (which was a mistake since I got pretty burnt!). Well, the only place that didn’t get red was my face…so I’m attributing that to this product. Overall, good protection and tint, but I wish the formula was less drying.

nice color but dislike the formula

I received the color "shiraz" in my birchbox. At first I was like whoaa this color is going to be way too dark for me so maybe I'll just give this to my mom. I put it on, though, and luckily the color was not at all as dark as in the tube! It was a nice flushed rose color. However, I was not at all impressed with the formula, which was similiar to a cheap lip gloss. I'm not a huge fan of lip glosses (hence the huge amount of lip glosses that are just sitting in my drawer) and I felt like this formula could stand to be a lot more moisturizing, considering it is supposed to be a "treatment". I found it was very drying and and after putting it on, I couldn't really rup my lips together like I usually can with balms and such.

yummy but faint scent

I received this as my free birthday gift sample from Sephora. I don't usually go for vanilla scents, so I was unsure what to expect. It definitely smells delicious, although the scent is more faint than with Philosophy's other shower gels. I loved that the vanilla aspect was not too strong, though, and will continue using it but probably wouldn't buy the full size.
