Be Available to Help As the leader, watch what your classmates are doing to accomplish their tasks and give them praise and encouragement. Let them know that you are glad to be working with them because you know they are good at a particular skill and you need them for that purpose. People work harder when they feel needed and respected. Encouragement and understanding will have your team members working hard, not only to accomplish the project on time and get a good grade but also to make you proud. Encourage Team Communication Being available to your classmates has been mentioned but communication among the entire team is essential. All parts of the project are related in some way as they all work toward a common goal. Make sure that you are not the only one talking among the group. If someone has an issue that someone else on the team or your instructor is better qualified to answer than you, direct them to that person. Your team should be relating to each other at all times so everyone is on the same page.
