I am a professed lip balm junkie. I always like to try something different. Lately I haven't really found any lip balms that take care of my easily chapped lips, so I went back to this lip balm. Now my lips are pillowy soft. The waxy coating of this balm took some getting used to but now it doesn't bother me. I will put this on my lips before bed and my lips will be so soft in the morning. After experimenting with other brands, I can say with confidence, this is my go-to lip balm.

Classic example of why I love Maybelline

I purchased this recently after trying Maybelline's new Mega Plush mascara. The mega plush was smooth and soft on the lashes but didn't provide any real impact for me. I picked this up and my "big black lashes" fix was met. This mascara has a thick bristled brush that grabs all of my lashes just fine. It doesn't clump up, and builds nicely. One coat usually does the job for my day time needs, and two coats amps up my night time look greatly! I'll still hold on to the Mega Plush mascara for the office look, but Colossal will be my go-to for everything else!

Nude Touch and Golden Splash

This was love at first swipe for me! When I saw these on display at my local CVS I decided to give one a try and bought Nude Touch. WOW! This gloss feels so good on the lips. Smooth, moisturizing, and no tacky feel! The smell is a soft sweet smell, not overpowering at all. Nude Touch is a nice pink that I wear everyday(photo attached). I ran out and bought Golden Splash, (A warm peachy pink with gold shimmer), so that I would have a nice bright gloss for the upcoming summer. If you are a gloss lover, you need to give this a try!

mascara that delivers.

I like this mascara. I have naturally long thick lashes, so I love to wear mascara and this particular mascara amps them up big time! The wand has a big brush with silicone bristles and they seem to coat all my lashes nicely. Although, if you have a lot of small lashes, I'm not sure it would work as well. I purchased the waterproof version and it holds up very well through my long days. The only thing I hate about this product is the size of the packaging! It is so big, sometimes it refuses to fit in my makeup bag with all of my other products. Other than that, I really like it.

unexpected HG!

I am very surprised by this blush. I have never been a fan of Covergirl, (I think the products just don't work well for me), but I have found a couple of gems and this is one of them. I have tried many brands of blushes and for a while the only one I could successfully work with was Bare Minerals blushes. But after leaving my comfort zone and seeing what other brands had to offer, I found this blush. I love the color, a warm pink with shimmer for my warm complexion, and I love the application. It is a sheer wash that you can build up, which is good for me because I can have a heavy hand especially with blush! The packaging is small, (another plus), and the price was great! This is definitely my go-to blush, especially when I travel.

I really like this nail polish line. I've used OPI, Essie, China Glaze, Revlon, L'Oreal and for the price this nail polish is fantastic. For around 2 dollars, you get some decent color selections and they dry fairly quickly. This polish has lasted as long as 4 days chip-free for me when paired with a base coat and top coat. Some shades I find the consistency to be a little thin, but I actually like it that way. I own Canal St. (a dark burgundy brown with silver shimmer), West Village (a deep dark shimmery navy blue), Chelsea (a dark berry red), and recently purchased Times Square which is such an awesome and unique coral-red perfect for the summer! If you are on a budget, I would highly recommend you try out this brand.

great color pay-off, smooth creamy feel, good hydration

I purchased Brown Sugar, Creme Brulee, and Berry Smoothie. These lip butters are creamy, and give off great color for tinted lip butters. I wasn't fond of the Creme Brulee shade because it muted my lips too much, but I love the Brown Sugar shade and wear it just about everyday! A con about this product is that sometimes the product shifts in the tube, and when twist it up to use more product, it can break off. Other than that, I love this product and I'm contemplating buying the Brown sugar again soon.
