My oily skin meant this literally melted off my face without a few hours of putting it on. The coverage was pathetic for me and it didn't even really moisturise.

After the first use I binned it straight away. My problematic skin just didn't agree with it!

It looks nearly identical to the Benefit foundation brush so I always pick it up by mistake and use it even though I don't particularly love it.

I always use foundation brushes so I bought this one, along with the studio line one, to test it.

I have used a lot of the ELF normal brushes before and have't liked ANY of them but I have to say that out of all the normal brushes, this one was the sturdiest and held up the best after washing.

It did shed on me but it was soft enough to use and although it doesn't feel like it will last long it does the job.

These work well but I find that I have to use more than one sheet to achieve an oil free face where as with other brands I can simply use one sheet.

I also find they leave behind a fine powder that if left would look odd on my really red nose, although I always touch up after I finish using these so it doesn't bother me.

I can't fault the price so they are handy if you can't get anything else.

I love using this as I can make it work on its own, over my foundation as a setting powder or during the day to absorb oils and for a touch up. I have really bad rosy cheeks and I am already quite pale so it had a really natural finish.

I loved the feel of it also as it wasn't overly powdered but left my skin smooth - and didn't break me out as it was so light!

The brush I got was really rough and hurt my eye. I had to throw it out after only one wash because it shed and was literally useless as it was too rough to use on my eye area.

It blended well but was of cheap quality and not worth the small amount of money I paid for it!

My first kabuki brush!

I have heard loads about kabuki brushes but I never really got the point of it - wasn't it just another brush with a really short handle?

Well - now that I've gotten this (and omg how silky soft is it?!) I use it for literally everything and need to order some more so I don't have to keep spot cleaning it for doing my whole face!

It applies powder really, really well. It washes well and it hasn't shed so far!

I have the Golden version and I regret picking that one.

The Golden one is shimmery and makes me look like I sprinkled glitter on my face. Since I wear a really natural look, it doesn't fit me at all.

I've heard great things about the other two and I can definitely believe it but if you don't want an overly shimmery bronzer then definitely avoid the Golden Bronzer!

The most insanely expensive cotton wool pads, EVER.

Okay. So I have to admit these totally tickled me when they first came out and of course my darling friend bought them as a gag gift for me (a really expensive GAG GIFT!!) for my Birthday.

They are cotton wool pads - simply put. They are nothing truly extra special apart from the fact they are the softest I've ever used. I actually feel bad using them because I feel like I'm rubbing my face with gold.

They are too cute though. I literally squee over them every time I see them and will probably leave enough to fill my glass jar so they can be a decoration!

My Winter skin!

I have really dry patches in the Winter and my normal Mat version just doesn't work well with my skin - so I switched to this on the advice of the assistant and I'm so thankful. I tend to actually mix the two foundations. This one definitely has a thicker consistency and I got the lightest shade possible. It is a tad too light for my skin but not so much that it doesn't look natural but instead does a great job in taming my Winter rosy nose and cheeks.

I tend to use Mat on my bridge of my nose and then Pro everywhere else and mix in a little Mat on the chin and rest of the forehead. The two colours mix really well so no problems there (I was surprised at this because of the different formulas but they work well together).

The coverage, like the other one, is medium but I find this here to have slightly more coverage so you needn't build it up as much. It does a brilliant job and I don't feel the need to conceal much.

The finish is a natural, dewy and healthy looking glow to your skin and isn't cakey or fake looking at all!

Compared to the Mat, it definitely applies a lot thicker (I'm taking this is because of the consistency and more moisture) and takes slightly more blending - but not enough to deem unacceptable.

Absolutely amazing!

I have quite problem skin yet I don't feel the need to conceal so much with this foundation as although it is a medium coverage, it can be built up to be nearly full coverage without it look cakey. The coverage is so natural.

I love this foundation so much because the colour I got literally matches my skin so well that I don't even need to blend it. It literally is so perfect that the skin on my neck and my jaw are identical without blending it downwards, and if I accidentally screw my foundation up when I'm in a whizz getting ready - you can't tell. It literally is perfect.

I have to disagree though and say that this is definitely not a matte finish. It leaves you dewy and healthy looking, but it does do a great job in stopping the majority of my shinyness!

I use this in the summer although it becomes too dry for my skin in the Winter, so I simply just change to a different formula! Comparing it with the Pro - it is runnier and definitely applies and blends easier.
