Beauty Product Reviews
Perfect!
I had been looking for the perfect lipstick shade for fall. I wanted a creamy violet color that wasn't too vampy. I had tried MAC's Smoked Purple but it was too drying on my lips. I have been turning more and more to Revlon's lipsticks. They are great quality and great for the budget. I picked up this shade and it was absolutely perfect. It can be layered lightly for a gorgeous stain or applied for fuller coverage. It is the perfect shade I had been looking for. It has already become my go to shade.
As soon as I read the description of the scent and others reviews I knew I needed to try Tom Ford's Black Orchid. After it arrived I wasn't disappointed. When first applied it's strong, but still intriguing. I can't help but take a whiff of it every so often. Some might find the initial scent too overwhelming, but it settles into the skin really well. One downfall I find that it fades within a few hours. Overall I can understand why this is versatile enough to be unisex; the scent is so complex and interesting. I can see this becoming a signature scent!
This product was my first attempt at trying out a BB cream. I loved it! I apply a light layer of moisturizer on and let that soak in before I put this on. It goes on smooth and feels light, it covers up reddened areas fairly well. If I have acne flair ups I still need concealer for specific spots, but overall it really improves the look of my skin. I set it with a powder. The only drawback was the price, and I plan on trying the garnier product. If there is a major difference in the quality between the two products I will have no problems repurchasing the Estee Lauder BB Cream.
