Beauty Product Reviews
Love this scent!
The Lemongrass and Citrus scent is so invigorating! I used this after a workout, and normally I'd slump around, exhausted but this scent was so motivating and zingy.. I want a candle in it to light as a de-stresser! I can't wait to use The Shampoo and The Conditioner that I won in Beautylish Indie Lee contest. They have the same scent, I know I'll love that.
The one thing I had an issue with was the lather.. or lack of. It would not lather on my loofa, but did a little more directly on skin. But hey, that's what you get with no Sulfates, Parabens or Phthalate.
The Eye Balm has a really strong smell. I place it as medicinal ointment with an olive oil type smell. Something I had to get used to.
I haven't been using it long, but so far it seems to enhance my dark circle to a green tone (which goes away when I color correct.) It is too soon to say if it is making an improvement on my puffiness and circle, but I'll update when/if I see a difference.
So different!
This is my first time with organic products.. but not with cleansers! The texture of this is so different and interesting - it's a gel type consistency like that of Lush's Grease Lightning. It didn't sink into my cotton ball, just sat on a layer on the top. But one swipe and my eye make up was gone!
The smell is amazing and sweet, and I do not need a follow up make-up wipe to clean more residue off my skin. It get's it all! I was so lucky to win Beautylish Indie Lee giveaway and try this. I will be repurchasing it when I run out.
I swear by this. I use it in the morning and at night before bed, and my face has made a DRAMATIC improvement in acne and more importantly it's been balancing the red tones out of my face. I don't know what I would do without this cleanser, no other ones have worked for my sensitive skin.
*It doesn't lather up very well, but I prefer that. You can tell it's doing it's job, who cares about bubbles on your face.
Kind of upset.
I love Maybelline. I always have and always will. But this mascara is sooo clumpy for me. I figured out it was the wand - I have very very short lashes and this thick brush wasn't cutting it for me. I've been dipping another hard bristle type of wand into this mascara formula and am loving the results.
A little goes a long way!
Still new to make-up, I'm trying to squeeze my dollar as far as I can. Previously, I've been using the ELF tone correcting concealer for my under eye circles. I was recommended to try this product, and for $6 it really does go a long way. It's super thick (which you may or may not like) and really does the job. There aren't too many shades, so I picked the lightest one and it doubles as an eye brightener. I will repurchase for sure.
