Smudges
I have used this product for a few months now (just so I don't waste it) and I'm not a huge fan. The smudging could be due to my oily skin/lids, but I don't notice my other eye products giving me any problems (my waterproof and/or non-waterproof products).
Pros: cost
Cons: smudges throughout the day and I have to constantly wipe it clean after a few uses, it started to clump
I wouldn't recommend, especially if you have oily skin that can make it smudge.
Great for the price!
This is my daily blush that I've been using for a few years now. I haven't used anything else (but I am going to experiment in the near future!) because this product does exactly what I need: provide a natural pink color that lasts through the daytime. You definitely need to reapply if you plan on going out that evening. If I do go out at night, I do a lot of touching up, so it's not a big deal for me to reapply.
I chose Deep Plum swatch because it is very similar to the color when I naturally blush. I've also never had a problem with the smell of the product as the other review has mentioned.
Pros: cost lasts through the work day several color swatches (although most are in the pink shades), so you can find one that matches you
Cons: brush it comes with isn't a great applicator - I use a Sephora blush brush and have to make sure I carry the brush with me whenever I want to use it
I'd highly recommend this if you're looking for something that is nice on your wallet, as well as on your face :)
Moisturizing, Not Oily
My skin has always been my body's first reaction to stress, be it through acne, eczema, or on either side of the spectrum of oily to dry on any given day. Being a busy student + getting older, I've found myself needing and wanting to take care of my skin more. A girlfriend suggested I use this eye cream since I didn't have any eye cream in my current face regimen. Since using this, I've noticed my skin to be more firm and softer! I think this is a great purchase:
+ moisturizing, not oily + sets as a great primer for my under-eye concealer + doesn't irritate my eczema that I get around my eyes (HUGE PLUS for me) + doesn't cost a fortune
I don't have anything to compare it to, but so far I haven't been let down with this. I would definitely recommend :)
Great gentle exfoliant!
I don't remember how I came across this product, but I'm glad I did! I've been using this twice a week (instead of my regular cleanser) for the past two years. My skin is fairly sensitive and so I am very cautious about what I put on my face. I'm also prone to breakouts if I don't cleanse and/or exfoliate regularly. With that said, Ole Henriksen's New Beginning Scrub is exactly what my skin was looking for. It doesn't feel like a harsh scrub and is very gentle. At the same time, it leaves your skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated, giving you the benefits of an exfoliant. I definitely recommend this for all, especially those who are unsure of what kind of scrub/exfoliant to buy. Even my brother uses this! :)
Love it!
Concealers scare me. Rather, concealers used to scare me!
With past experience with concealers, I was always hesitant to use them. After using this product in #4 for a few weeks now, I've fallen in love! This is heavy enough to cover the bags under my eyes and is equally balanced in its ease of use. Placed over Bliss eye cream and topped off with the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder, I highly recommend this product!
