I agree with everyone below! The packaging is so cute but the product is mehhhh! I work with children and once they see this, they go crazy over it! It's too cute and they all want to hold it!
Anyways, I've tried the Honeysuckle Honeydew, Summer Fruit, and Lemon Drop. A plus side to these lip balms is that they leave a nice taste, well at least for Honeysuckle Honeydew and Summer Fruit. I just looked at the website and the Lemon Drop apparently has a SPF15 which is nice.
This is an excellent lip balm! I don't usually have problems with my lips but when I do, that means my lips are in pretty bad shape. This is probably one of the few lip balms that actually helps when my lips do become chapped.
The consistency is really nice too. It may look really thick when you first squeeze it out of the tube but it doesn't feel sticky on the lips. It also doesn't give you that slippery feeling when you apply it. I'm really happy with this product and will definitely re-purchase or try out the other Kiehl's Lip Balm.
This is probably the best cleanser I've ever tried. I've been using this product for about a year and a half and have no plans of changing, EVER!
I have super frickin dry skin and eczema but this product does not irritate my face at all. It's really gentle and does a great job at removing face and eye make-up. It also leaves my face feeling hydrated.
Several people who dislike this cleanser say that it doesn't take off all their eye make-up. It's not purely an eye make-up remover so I don't expect it to clean every last bit off. However, I would say that I have never used a cleanser, besides this one, that gently and effortlessly removes my eye make-up.
A ton of people always recommend this product so I was really excited to check it out. I wasn't sure which color to purchase but they had the "Lip Saver" or whatever it's called that had three jars for like 20 bucks.
I agree that it does a great job of conditioning the lips. My favorite, however, is definitely the Pomegranate. I would say that the Pomegranate color really enhances my lip color. It's like a natural "I just ate a red popsicle" look.
One downside is that the product gets a ton of dust particles in it. It's not like I leave the cap off or anything. You can see it most in the lighter shades like Jasmine. Gross man!
I was initially debating between this and the Make Up Forever Full Coverage. After testing out each one, I ended up purchasing the Kat Von D one because the consistency wasn't as thick. It's about $25 which is expensive considering how small the tube is but in all honesty, you only need a tiny little drop. Lately, I haven't been wearing foundation so I use a tiny bit of this concealer to cover my problem areas.
Because the concealer claims to cover tattoos, I asked one of the sales representatives if it helped her. She said that to cover her tattoos, she preferred the Make Up Forever one.
These liquid lipsticks are definitely a good deal. You can't really ask for more since they only cost one dollar each.
What I've come to realize about e.l.f. products is that even though you only pay $1, you receive a teeny, tiny amount. I feel like the amount of product is literally a dollar's worth or equivalent to a sample. More often than not, they are difficult to track down (in-store) so I suggest purchasing whatever you like/want right away because these products always seem to run out quickly.
Originally I wanted to purchase the full coverage concealer but I just couldn't stomach the 30 dollar price tag! So expensive, right? So I chose one of these pots as an alternative for $18. It was definitely one of the more affordable items from Make Up Forever.
The product, however, was very disappointing. I looked up reviews hoping to find some tips about the product online. A lot of the reviewers really liked this product but I just couldn't get the product to work well.
I felt like it was too thick for a concealer no matter how little I picked up. I eventually returned it and purchased the Kat Von D tattoo concealer.
Tons of people always recommend these jumbo pencils. After doing some research and browsing around, I decided to give them a chance and purchased a few.
I purchased two from Ulta. I really liked the variety of colors and the small price tag. Ulta always seems to have a "buy one, get one half off" deal NYX products. The colors looked so pretty and vibrant.
It might have been the colors I picked or maybe they just don't work very well on eyelids but the colors I chose (can't remember them now) did not enhance my eye make-up that much. Also, the biggest disappointment to me was that none of my eyeliners would glide onto the product. It was like the jumbo pencil's formula would repel my eyeliner. Such a shame though since they colors are quite lovely.
I love using Ondine as an all over lid color and it has become a crucial part of my favorite eye look. I apply any pearly flesh tone color as my highlight/brow bone color and apply MAC's FIG. 1 (a matte purple shade) to achieve my favorite smoky eye.
Prior to my discovery of Ondine, I would say my go to color was MAC's Satin Taupe, a usual favorite of among several Youtubers and Beauty Bloggers. There is definitely a similarity between the two but I personally prefer the NARS one. I feel Ondine achieves a more vibrant color application and I just prefer the quality of NARS.
NARS eyeshadows are pretty pricey, especially considering the fact that they look so tiny. However, they are slightly bigger than MAC eyeshadows and the packaging's quality (a mini version of a NARS blush) is far superior.
Unlike the Philosophy Kabuki Brush, I would have to deem this as one of my favorite brushes! It practically lives in my make-up bag.
In general, I tend to favor really dense or flat-top brushes and this brush fits both those categories. The surface area of this brush is on the smaller side but I don't mind that too much. It also sheds a couple of hairs every time you wash it but since I don't mind that either. The handle is sleep and doesn't leave any fingerprints. Also, it is on the shorter side so controlling the brush is pretty easy.
I use this brush for bronzer or buffing in my face powder and does an excellent job at both.
