Definitely my favorite product from the Ole Henriksen line. I use it about twice a week and it's extremely gentle. The texture is slightly watery compared to other exfoliants and the texture of the beads are very subtle. I would describe them as a cross between sugar grains and exfoliating beads. Although it's gentle, I feel it does a great job as an exfoliant.
I've tested a fair amount of toners and would say this is by far my favorite one. I think it works great on dry skin. It isn't harsh on your face at all. Sometimes toner, especially for on dry or sensitive skin, causes the skin to feel really uncomfortable as if all the moisture was drained out. The cucumber face toner definitely does the opposite, it is both hydrating and refreshing.
This is one of my least favorite items from the dry/sensitive line. Although I have extremely dry skin, I don't like my cleansers to make my skin feel oily and this is exactly what happens with this product. It especially makes my lips feel gross and slippery.
It doesn't remove make-up very well either. I would definitely recommend the Purity cleanser over this one.
I love love love this product! I seriously never go anywhere without a mini tube of it. I've lived in Socal my whole life and recently moved to a place where winters are crazy cold and dry. I apply it on my face, lips, and all dry patches on my body.
I already suffer from eczema and extremely dry skin so the horrendous winter weather made me feel like like crap. I've tried everything to hydrate my dry skin and this is definitely my favorite product of all time. It is quite thick and sticky but it works the best out of all the creams and lotions I've used.
My mother has used Shiseido for the past 25+ years so naturally I am always browsing their products. From 2003-2006, I used the Shiseido liquid and powder foundation.
When I saw that they had an SPF version, I was instantly sold. It feels pretty light-weight on the skin but still not as comfortable as mineral make-up. The coverage, however, is excellent. I also think they made the cases sturdier than before or maybe I just drop my new one less! I broke so many of the black cases before.
I use the puff to apply the powder when I'm out but I feel a flat top brush applies it better.
I really like this primer and prefer it over the shadow insurance and the primer potion. This primer definitely has a much more tackier feel which I like. It is not as silky feeling as the other two and is slightly more difficult to blend in but I don't mind.
I feel that my eye make-up sticks to this better than any eye primer I've used. I also have redness around my eye area and this is the perfect primer to help conceal it.
I've been a big fan of Urban Decay eyeshadows since high school. However, after starting college, I really lost my interest in make-up. Once I graduated, I started experimenting more and was really interested in these huge palettes since buying each shadow can be pretty pricey.
I was super bummed when I wasn't able to find the Alice and Wonderland palette since I am a fan of the novel and was a fan of Urban Decay way back when. Then I saw the advertisements for this and was immediately interested.
I don't particularly like the colors in this palette. I don't feel they're very appropriate for my current lifestyle. Don't get me wrong, the colors are really beautiful but I'm just not a big fan of chunky glitter. I think this palette would work really for my younger cousins in their teens.
When you count the amount of product you receive, yes it can be considered a "good deal" but since I only use a few of the colors, it isn't such a great deal after all.
I love that Tweezerman has a large range of styles, colors, and prints for their tweezers. I ended up purchasing the mini lavender slanted one since my hands are relatively small. And in all honesty, the smaller ones are so cute!
They are really sharp so I definitely agree with the previous post to be careful when using them. They, however, do come with a little test tube like bottle so they don't scratch up things in your make-up bag.
