Great Luminous Setting Powder

I normally use the regular matte Magic Star Setting Powder, so I was looking forward to trying out the new Luminous formula. I have oily skin, so I was a bit wary of using this powder at first, but I love it! The powder gives my skin a soft glow without looking oily, and it makes my makeup look beautiful! I ordered the Translucent shade, and it does not leave any white residue.

Great for Setting Makeup

I use this powder to set my foundation and concealer, and it works! I have oily skin so the powder does help makeup looking matte. The price is a bit on the expensive side, but a little goes a long way, so it is definitely worth it!

The Best JSC Palette

99% of the time I wear colorful eyeshadow, so this palette is perfect for me! I love the range of matte & shimmer shades & there are so many looks you can create with this palette! The shades all have great pigment, but there is minimal fallout. However, I did not mind. The large mirror is also definitely handy, and Beautylish has super quick shipping!

The worst JSC palette

Beautylish is the best when it comes to checkout and shipping. Within 3 business days, my palette was shipped and delivered. However, the palette itself is terrible. I specifically have problems with the shades Glass Wet (1st shade in the swatch), Gagging (3rd), Frozen Fire (5th), and Foam Party (8th). Even though Glass Wet is described as sheer, these 4 shades have very little pigment when swatching and applying with brushes. Also, using a wet and dry brush, eyeshadow primer, and glitter primer do not help at all with the pigment. I recommend purchasing any other JSC palette instead of this one.
