Beauty Product Reviews

Perfect Everyday Pink/Goes great with a smokey eye for night as well!

I love this lipstick so much, even though I just recently got it. I paired it with a Hard Candy plumping lip gloss in "Girl Next Door" (which has been compared to a Buxom gloss). Looks really great on my fair skin tone, but I'm sure it can work for those with a nice tan glow too!

I love this lip gloss!

It doesn't "tingle" uncomfortably, it just has a cooling sensation which is nice. It does make my lips appear plumped, but not obnoxiously swollen! I love this lip gloss and in the shade Katie, it is the perfect nude for my skin tone. I usually put it over my Revlon Matte lipstick in Nude Attitude and it looks so nice! It looks sexy, and not like death!

I love the thick formula, wish it had a felt tip brush instead/or at least a thinner brush!

I use this every day for my liquid cat eyeliner look, whether I am wearing eyeshadow that day or just the liquid liner and some mascara! I absolutely love it, it stays on literally all day long. I can wear it for 12 hours and it won't flake, crumble, smudge, or budge on my eyes :) I will probably never turn back after trying this product. In my opinion, the only con is the brush applicator...If I am moving to quick with my strokes, I can easily make a mistake and you can see a tiny "brush hair line" if that makes sense...it basically ruins the whole straight line that I just had and requires me to touch it up...but hey that's my fault for moving too quickly! Maybe I just need more practice :)

 • Sin

Perfect for the inner corner/tear duct area!

I got my eyeshadow in Sin from MyGlam Bag. Before receiving my bag I didn't know how big the eyeshadow would be. It ended up being full size at a $16 value, I spent $10 on the MyGlam Bag. That is a plus! (I'd also like to include that I am no longer subscribed to MyGlam due to personal reasons...) Anyways (now that you know I didn't pay full price for this product), I find Sin is too shimmery to use as a browbone highlight, for my personal preference. I enjoy using it in the center of my lid to make my eyes appear larger, or in the inner corner which brightens any eye makeup look! Great staying power as well, better than any other drugstore "inner corner" eyeshadows that I have tried :)

Lightest shade isn't even light enough for me :(

I understand that only so many powders can match the skin perfectly, but this is too yellow toned, and thick to be a nice "setting powder" over liquid foundation. That was the intention I had with this product. If you're as pale as me, I'd suggest you pass it up and spend an extra 3 or 4 dollars to buy a powder that will match your skin tone better! :)

NOT WORTH IT.

I honestly thought this was going to be perfect to keep in my bag for "on-the-go" touch ups, but it is TERRIBLE! I used it once and haven't touched it since :( I was so bummed when I used it because it was not translucent, what so ever. It left a pinky, chalky, gross looking finish. It basically made my pores show up even more than if I used nothing at all.

Best Lip Balm Ever!

I am a lip balm junkie and I find that if a lip balm doesn't work overnight, I stop using it! This however DOES change my lips overnight! I have the minty one and it literally takes my lips for cracky to smooth in like an hour :)

NO.

I really wanted to like this product, but I have better luck not using an eyeshadow primer at all! I really dislike this product :( It goes on thick and leaves my eyes looking cakey :/

BEST Concealer EVER!

Honestly, I will be repurchasing this product forever (well unless it is discontinued...which I hope doesn't happen EVER! Then I'd have to stock up, it's that good!) I love how creamy it is. I love the application. I love that it is REALLY opaque, so you don't see any darkness showing through at all! It is the BEST drugstore concealer I have ever purchased and I have tried too many to count! It is even better than the Revlon Photoready stick concealer which is way too sheer for my undereyes. This Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Treatment Concealer is the BEST concealer I have ever used, I will recommend this to EVERYONE!

My Favorite Product From E.L.F. Ever!

I was thinking of spending $20 on the Bare Essentials eye brightening powder after hearing about it from Emily Noel on YouTube, but I found this one while browsing Eyeslipsface.com and I thought, "Why not try the $3 product first?!" I purchased it along with the E.L.F. Mineral Blending Brush and they work wonders together! I first use the E.L.F. Corrective Concealer (Pink) applied with my fingers under my eyes, then I use my Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser in Light/Fair (I do the triangle trick), and then I blend my Revlon Colorstay with my E.L.F. Stippling Brush over the triangle area lightly. FINALLY, I use my E.L.F. Mineral Blending Brush to swirl the E.L.F. Mineral Eye Brightener over ONLY the triangle area! I have finally found my perfect under eye concealing method after trial/error for the last few years! Thank you E.L.F. :)
