Possibly my least favorite lip balm. Ever.
I really don't like this stuff. I bought my first one, lemon drop, awhile ago, when these first became popular and I wasn't too happy with it. But a week ago I was standing in checkout line at Walmart and I kept eyeing the sweet mint. I figured why not. Maybe I just didn't like the lemon one. Turns out, I don't the the mint one either.
I love the smell, especially the sweet mint. And, yes, the taste is pretty dang yum.
The packaging is kind of cool, but I think it's also kind of annoying to apply because it's a sphere. You can't exactly keep it in your pocket.
I just can't stand it though! The balm is so oily. It doesn't feel like I'm putting lip balm on since it's so greasy. The texture of this stuff drive me crazy.
Luckily my cat knocked it off my nightstand a few days ago, probably thinking it was one of his balls. I haven't been able to find it since. I am assuming it's finally being enjoyed somewhere as on of Charlie's toys. At least it's being put to good use!
Perfect for an everyday face.
I ran out of my ELF Studio tinted moisturizer and this was the only tinted moisturizer I could find at Walmart. I love this stuff. I don't like to wear foundation daily but I wanted to find something to even out my skin. This does that perfectly.
This product makes it look like I am wearing nothing on my face. It smells good. I've never noticed any sparkles like other reviews say. It has pretty good coverage, especially for a tinted moisturizer. It moisturizes great. And it goes on like a dream.
The downside, for most people, is that it only comes in two shades. I have super pale skin so the light color is just slightly darker than my skin tone. The medium color doesn't look dark at all. It also might be too much for a person with oily or combination skin.
Not too shabby.
I'm glad that I picked up Cherry Me because I had been looking for a sheer red lip balm. I love the way it makes my lips feel. You can tell it's moisturizing. It doesn't leave my lips sticky or too oily. Cherry Me smells like cherry popsicle and doesn't really have a taste. So many lip products that claim to be tasteless taste like plastic. This doesn't have any odd taste.
I have both Wet N Wild Juicy Lip Balm, in Cherry, and Covergirl Natureluxe Gloss Balm, in Anemone. The WnW balm looks and smells wonderful but leaves a horrid taste in my mouth that won't go away. And I thought that CG one was dry. I also just found a red colored lip balm from Hard Candy. It smells and tastes like sugar cookies. But, it doesn't have too much color to it.
Baby Lips is awesome, especially compared to other red balms I have. Go buy some!
Totally worth the hype!
The other day I bought two lip butters at Target. The display was very picked over but I managed to snag a Berry Smoothie and a Tutti Fruity. The consistency is fantastic! They go on so smooth. I don't like wearing lipstick. These are a great alliterative. They have more pigmant than tinted lip balms and slightly less than lipsticks. The Berry Smoothie is a fairly sheer berry pink. I adore it. It's a great shade for everyday and very buildable. I imagine is would flatter a lot of people. The Tutti Fruity is very orange. I've seen it swatched on so many blogs and it looks gorgeous, but I look a bit ridiculous wearing it. I would without a doubt recommend Revlon Lip Butters to anyone, especially those that want a lip product that is moisturizing and has a lot of color. I can't wait to get more colors. Hopefully Target has Pink Truffle, Sweet Tart, and Peach Parfait.
Meh.
Most people treat Seche Vite as the magical, perfect top coat sent down from the nail polish gods, but I only think the product is so so. Yes, the super quick dry and shininess are great, but no matter what I do my polish peels off completely by the next day. Or, the polish chips right away. I don't get what I'm doing wrong. I've put it on immediately after I polish my nail, a few minutes after I've polished, and even after the polish is dry. Nothing works for me. Oddly the polish stays on my nails longer if I apply it when the polish is going to peel off within a day. It does what it promises. It dries very quickly. But why use it when it makes you nail polish chip and peel off in strips...
I love Mellow Melon!
I just bought Mellow Melon and Romantic Rogue. Romantic Rogue does not work with my skin tone, but Mellow Melon in my all time favorite tinted lip balm. The color is gorgeous, a lot more pigmented than I'd thought it'd be. This product feels so good on and actually does moisturize. And, it smells great. I plan on getting this in most of the other colors it comes in.
Favorite blush!
This blush is my favorite. Pink Passion is so bright that it looks intimidating, but it's the perfect shade for me. It's so pigmented. A little goes a long way. And, it stays on. I adore this blush. I recommend it to everyone. I am going to have to pick up a few other colors.
I LOVE Glow All the Way!
I was looking for a cheap luminizer at Walmart and I am so glad that I picked this up! First off, you get so much. There is a lot of product here! And I love the way it looks on my cheeks. I have Doll Face, which is the pink one, and it leaves a subtle glow. It is pink, but it's not too crazy or over the top. I blends in with blush so well. I'm not sure if it's infused with 24 karat gold, but it's awesome. I recommend this to everyone that wants to glow a bit!
Disappointing!
I just purchased the Sugar Lip Shimmer and I was let down. The color of the product isn't like the color on the lid. I was expecting a light pink. But, In the tube it's more of a bronze and on the lips its practically white. It makes me look dead. I wouldn't call it a shimmer, but a frost. I'm not sure who this would look good on. I'm really pale and I tend to wear lighter lip colors, but this wasn't cutting it. That being said, it's very pigmented. I like the texture and it seems moisturizing, but I still would never wear it because how bad it looks on. And, I can't imagine another color looking good on me.
Love this!
I have the Petal Pusher palette and I just love it. I would recommend it to everyone! I use it everyday. I've heard that Petal Pusher isn't as pigmented as Comfort Zone and Blue Had Me At Hello, but I think it's plenty pigmented. I love purple and pink shadows, and I've found that Petal Pusher is more pigmented than any other drugstore palette that I own with pink or purple shadows. Plus, you're getting 8 shadows for 5 or 6 dollars. You get your money's worth. I'm thinking of getting the Comfort Zone one too.
