Love the range of colours but has some cons
first of all, I love Essie's range of pinks and reds and their names are too cute! However, I find that they take too long to dry and the paler pinks get less opaque which is really disappointing. It takes at least 4 coats for most of them and then still they are semi opaque and you can see the white nail tip through. However I have yet to try them over a white base and that would reduce the number of coats needed but still show their pale colours!
Love this brush!
this brush is nicely dense and picks up colour really nicely. sometimes you only have to just dab it gently in and it picks up enough to pack on the colour nicely. I haven't had any problems with it shedding or having any weird odors. I love how it stays soft after even after multiple washings!
Has it's pros and cons
I really like it, I bought it in Ash since I wasn't sure of how black it was going to be and I wanted a colour that I could make darker by applying it a few times and that worked out perfectly. However, a few bad things were that the tip has frayed a bit for me but it still is relatively sharp, I try not to use it straight on the tip instead I hold it at around a 45º angle which also makes it easier to wing it out at the end for a cat eye. Also the tip dries out quick, but I find if you wet it slightly it works, but if you do it too often then it does dry out. It also helps to store it tip down! I find that the quality of each e.l.f product depends but I am really happy with all I've bought from their store!
