Beauty Product Reviews
moisturizing, medium coverage
I really like the consistency of these lipsticks. A lot of people say they are like a tinted balm but I feel like they have much better pigmentation and a glossier texture than balms. They are about halfway between lipstick and balm with extra moisture. Love the color range too, good mix of neutrals and fun bright colors.
Not for fair oily skin
The pigmentation and blendability of this duo is pretty good. I had to get rid of it though because the "bronzer" was way too dark for me and had a slight green tint too it, and the blush color was very shimmery/glittery and made my oily skin look super shiny. I think it would be best on light/medium to medium skin tones, and normal to dry skin.
Adds a little glow
I like these blushes a lot. They are lightweight and don't look too powdery on the skin. They also have just a hint of shimmer to them so they give the skin a nice glow without making it look too shiny. Plus, like all Avon products, they are really affordable and go on sale pretty often.
Excellent and Affordable
These lipsticks are creamy, long wearing, and have great pigmentation. They are also almost always on sale, generally $5 or less depending on what promotion is running, making them super affordable. There is also a really good range of shades.
Great if you don't have sensitive skin!
I tried this in one of the 2 week Anew trial kits. I will say that as far as cleansing goes, it's a good cleanser. It takes your makeup off and lathers well. It has weird little microbeads in it that are supposed to burst while cleansing, but most of mine just washed straight off without bursting. If I didn't have sensitive skin I would give this more stars, but for me it was too heavily fragranced and I had an itchy/burny reaction to it. Definitely would not recommend for sensitive skin.
