Beauty Product Reviews
to die for
So I have had the pleasure of being introduced to this awesome brand by my cosmetology club instructor. To start off, this brand has really gotten makeup down to a science, literally, the products are hightech and the pigments are out of this world. Although I had the pleasure of trying their blacklight lipgloss, and one of their tubed lipsticks, I have not had the pleasure of trying the freedom palette lipstick rounds. However, at fashion week I was hanging around the Inglot artists before Stacey Igler's show. I offered to color a lady's lips ( she was waiting for her friend's makeup to be done), she accepted and the lipstick honestly was breathtaking, it was creamy, and went on true to the skin ( so I did take the route of using 3 colors to add real dimension to the lip). The freedom palettes are so innovative, who wants to buy a palette with like only 2 or 3 colors they like and don't like? Not to mention the packaging, the palette is black with a translucent magnetic sheet to cover it. And one of the best things of all, they are inexpensive!
realism expectations are met!
I've never used a product specifically made for sculpting the face (aside from highlighters) until now! I cannot believe how subtle yet noticeable the look of my cheek bones were! It had the nicest consistency, and the way it blended into the rest of my makeup was flawless, the shade I used had a warm enough tone to add dimension without necessarily making my contour look completely artificial. The cream to powder finish is ideal, considering you want it to melt into your skin, but dry so there is no shine. Thumbs up guys <3
Top Selling Concealer at Sephora and I know why!
This is amazing at covering skin discolorations, small scars, undereye circles , redness..you get it lol. It's not drying, the texture is pretty creamy and opaque so I'd recommend applying it in sheer layers and build as needed. No caking which everyone loves, and it's water prooooooof <3 so water isn't a problem! Pretty pricey howver I suppose it's worth it since you don't need to use much of it all at once and it pretty much covers anything lol
Cutest lip product!
I adore this product simply for it's sweet candy scent, it's versatility, and it's opulent tube 0.o Well I'll start by saying I love Pomegranate ANYTHING, it's my second fave fruit next to pineapples! So that's the first shade that caught my eye! Second it's moisturization is to die for, the moisture lasts and lasts -_- the color and gloss of this is totally buildable, 1 swipe = super sheer tint and lasting moisture, 2-3 swipes equals medium tint with a subtle shine, and 4 or more swipes equals a bright tint and brilliant luster! (depending on which shade you use the effect varies). Downside to this product is the more you apply throughout the day, the more stained your lips become, however remember I said it lasts! So, a little goes a long way with this!
My favorite gloss!
This is one of the most pleasing out of all of the glosses I've used! The apricot fragrance is sweet and subtle, and the shade I use which is a Light Pearly Beige from the Star Collection, is very suitable for many shades and lasts for a really long time! The small brush applicator is ideal for building on the shine, however, the bristles are small lol so it can't really get down to the bottom of the tube when it's beginning to run out :( No stickiness, No runnyness, and very versatile since there are different opacities and textures. Diamond, for a sheer yet sparkly pout, Star for an in between opacity and shimmery pout, and Metal for a metallic, opaque, intense pout. You won't regret this purchase! Just remember to use it sparingly!
One of the best!
Honestly one of the sexiest, elegant fragrances I've ever worn, no old lady smell here! I can describe it as smooth, warm, sweet and sensual. It is a treat for me, even when the fragrance wears off after a long day's work, I can just smell my wrist and still be just as delighted as when i first sprayed it earlier in the day!
