Beauty Product Reviews

Amazing colors, long-lasting & smooth formula, and easy-to-use brush!

OCC's Nail Lacquer is among the best you'll ever find, so the $10 price tag given the quality of the product makes it a steal! I routinely get a full week of chip-free wear out of mine (I have both Pleasure Model and Mein Herr). The polish goes on smoothly and streak-free—the longer brush bristles help with that—more so probably than any other polish brand. And the shade selection is unmatched. Don't hesitate!

Ideal cool-toned purple-pink for cheeks and lips

Understated, and so pretty. If you’ve been looking for a cool-toned purple-pink, this might become your new go-to -- it's as easy to put on and easy to wear as any of Benefit's tints.

Awesome, visible results!

Love this mask so much. I use it once a week and it gives me a brighter, more glowing complexion every time. You get a slight tingling sensation that feels amazing—it's not over-drying or harsh at all. It exfoliates a bit, and clears out and shrinks my pores, too.

The perfect neutral pinky beige.

If you've been searching for the right not-quite-pink, not-quite-off-white, neutral looking nail color THIS IS IT. I've bought countless $5 bottles of nail polish in search of the right shade. It's juuuust a little edgier than Essie's Ballet Slippers, and that's why I love it.

Vivid, long-wearing, moisturizing

Can't say enough good things about this product. I know LUSH does great things with skin care, but I didn't expect to love the brand's lipstick so much. This is a liquid lipstick, so not-quite-gloss. It goes on opaque and this shade is a stunning cherry red. It lasts really well, and even long with a primer (I use Too Faced Lip Insurance) underneath. If you want to dull down the color a bit for more of a stain effect you can just blot with a tissue, too!

Less damaging and less "flat"ness than any other flat iron

The Ferrum Styler is truly unlike any other flat iron I’ve tried! One plate is tourmaline-coated ceramic; the other, the one you put on the outer side of the strand you’re ironing, is non-heated(!) and covered in soft fabric. The latter is meant to let hair breathe while also causing less damage. What I noticed most is that it heats up fast (140–450 degrees) and it doesn’t make my hair flat. It smoothes it and makes it softer and better-looking, yes, but also voluminous. The plates are beveled so that if you can easily do a little flip at the ends for movement. I don’t think I’ll ever switch to another iron after trying this one. Pricey, yes, but in line with other professional hair tools and well worth it.

Lightweight and insta-cooling

This product is so, so good if you ever get overheated flare-ups (I do). It really works and is light as a feather. It's great for morning or night, and has chamomile for more calming effects.

With concealer, virtually the only thing you need.

If you, like me, hate the feeling of any *stuff* on your face, try this. On my most full coverage days, I do tinted moisturizer or BB, concealer, + a tiny bit of "un" powder on top. It looks like I'm wearing nothing, feels like I'm wearing nothing, but yet makes my skin look more even and less shiny overall. And it helps concealer stay put all day. Truly worth every penny if you want a no-makeup look and feel.

Worth it.

Pricey but one bottle can last a year or two—you only need a tiny dab. It's an oil, and counterintuitively it's the only thing that makes my oily skin ... less oily.
