Perfect on the go!
I have all the Naked palettes but I rarely use the other ones and for sure I didn't need this one... but I got it anyway because I am a makeup freak! When I find a brand that I like a pretty much am willing to buy anything at least once to try from them. In this case it was one of the best decisions I ever made. This is always in my purse or backpack! I love that they have mostly matte shadows too. They are made with the new formula so there is little to no fall out and an easy creamy application. Because I am so fair I rarely use the darkest shade but it is the same consistency and blendability! The original nakeds are $50 a piece or $4.17 a shade and this one is $27 or $4.50 a shade. The bummer here is that there are no add ons. No brush, no primer and no lipgloss like in the other sets yet I would still recommend this for a busy gal or a makeup noob or even a natural face makeup lover.
Falling into you...
I got this palette for the first time last Fall and it was perfect timing. It was the main palette I went to for my Autumn looks. The only thing that is a slight bummer is that Full Moon, Night Light and Night Fever, the three most glitter/shimmery are a little difficult to spread/blend without some fall out. Here are my swatches: rougeandbooks.com/4/post/2012/12/to....
Love it but...
I got Interlace on a whim and I love the thick liquid lipstick feel and the amount of coverage. It is perfect when it is mixed with a pink or red gloss or liner on first otherwise I get "dead face"! Which now that I think about it would be cool for halloween. Anyway, love the lastablitiy... that is totally a word. I recommend to anyone you try the brand out in a shade that catches your eye.
The original formula was better!
Ok, so the formula before their newest change was better than this new one. It is very liquidy now and creases on my lid within an hour. The original or last formula for all of them was a little thicker and stayed longer too. I switched to Too Faced and I don't regret it in the least!
Love it!
This one is a little more colorful than the original and I like vibrant colors so this was a no brainer for more calm makeup days. The formula is wonderful (I have the old formula before they changed over last year) and there is barely any fall out. A side note on that one is that the glittery or shimmery ones do have the tiniest amount of fall out unless you pat/push it on the lid. Also the lip gloss is gorgeous that comes with this palette!
Just ok
This run a bit waxy, but I loved the mint scented one. It lasted for a long time but after a while my lips were addicted to using it and when I didn't wear it I was really dry/chapped feeling. I used it up until the end. I love that is paraben free and claims to be 100% organic but it is nothing special in texture or flavors and in fact I seriously hate the lemon "very medicinely smelling" one. The big deal about these is that they are a ball.
I love it!
I love this palette but I hardly ever use it. I am more vibrant eyed than neutral tone eyed. But this is a low key makeup day dream! Here are my swatch pictures: http://www.rougeandbooks.com/4/post....
Full coverage liquid gold!
I love this product. It was the very first time I only had to use one foundation instead of two to get the right shade for me. I got it on sale and snapped up two backups. It is on the thicker side of foundations but easily feels like I am wearing nothing after a couple minutes. It lasts me about 8 hours before touch up is needed. I am acne prone around my chin and have had no problems with clogging with this product.
