Just okay

To me this product was just... average. No noticeable tint and it only lasts an hour at the most. But it did have a pleasant minty tingle, subtle shimmer, and was pretty looking for a basic colorless gloss.

I bought this gloss in carrot kisses.

Firstly, I love this because when I measured the pH, it was acidic. Your skin has a pH of about 5 so when you use very alkaline soaps, it destroys the natural pH balance and can weaken your skin's protective barriers against microbes and other irritants. Alkaline soaps are also very likely to dry out your skin *too* much.

But since Yesto Carrots Wash is slightly acidic and has a light silky carrot oil, I never have issues with dry skin afterwards. Exactly what I was needing!

I admit I'm not crazy about the smell (muted carrots and some kind of flower?) but the smell doesn't stay on your skin.

I love this stuff! The moisturizing properties don't last as long as some balms do (like Burt's Bees), but the amazing taste and perfectly smooth textures makes up for that. So far my favorite is sweet mint.
