Meh.
My face feels kinda tight and I guess I was supposed to use the moisturizer after. I got this in a Birchbox. The smell was pretty horrific, I love apple scent, this just smells disgusting. I have used plenty of "peels" and this didn't really make my skin feel any different than a drugstore mask. Not impressed and I would never put that smell on my face again. Will not purchase.
Wow.
I just bought Clash the other day, I wore it yesterday and I fell asleep without taking my make up off (yeah I know.. BAD) and the shadow I used with it is completely gone and the shadow pencil is still there. Even my eyeliner wore off! I am so impressed with this and I am DEFINITELY buying more colors. I hope they expand this collection, it is fantastic!
PS smooth application, super pigmented, vibrant!
Best hold!
So you want your lashes not to fall off during a night out dancing? This is what you want!
Seriously it is the super glue of lash glue! A little goes a long way and I do not need to reapply it throughout the day/night. I don't freak out if I forget to bring it with me, in fact I often do... Oh DUO, you are my favorite forever.
All time favorite gel.
This is my all time favorite gel liner. I love the application of Fluidline it works the best and for me, it wears the best on my eyes. I have tried some other drugstore gel liners and though some of them are pretty fantastic for what they are, I cannot deny MAC's formula. I haven't really had any problems with mine drying out but I have used someone else's dried out liner and I just ran the liner brush through some fix plus, and it worked just fine.
I love the staying power, the only problem with drug store gel liners (for me) is it fades quite a bit quicker throughout the day. I do not use gel liner every day, I use it for more precise looks with wings or a clean line. Fluidline will probably always be a staple in my makeup collection.
Saved my hair.
I am guilty of over processing my hair every now and again.. I think most of us have been there at some point. When my hair gets to that luxurious straw like texture and I think it might start to break and fall out I run out and buy this. I am sure I am not supposed to use it everyday, but when my hair gets that bad.. I do. It isn't the hugest impact in the world but it does make my hair feel like hair again, which is MIRACLE to me!
A bit too pink.
For me the blush is a bit too pink for me, but I do like the fact I can swirl it in the lighter shades to tone it down.
I like the smell but I found that it has a very faint smell now. So I am not sure if I left it open maybe and the scent just went poof or it just happened over time?
I found the formula to give a smooth application, when I do apply it with a brush it does pack on quickly so it is a pretty soft pressed powder which I like.
The brush it comes with is obnoxious, I do not like it at all. But I have said it before and I will say it again... I do not like flat face brushes. I would not repurchase this but I am enjoying it in my collection for the time being since it is super cute!
Surprised this is available in drug stores.
I bought this after watching VintageorTacky's review. I didn't really have the HIGHEST hopes, but I was refusing to buy MAC fluidline at the time. I just have to say this. WOW. I don't know about 24 hour definition but it does last quite a while! It doesn't get clumpy nor does it dry out and flake off during the day. I tossed the brush though as I was not having any of that...
I have not used the brown liner yet but the purple and black and smooth with the application as quite solid with the color. Glad I bought these (I did end up buying fluidline since it is a bit more black), I am quite pleased with the quality!
Bubble Gum!
Ok, so this is advertising the Bon Bon lip scrub, which I own but dislike. I do not like th finer grit sugar in the Bon Bon lip scrub. I do, however, love the Bubble Gum lip scrub. It smells great and it works well enough.
Honestly you can get the same effect with olive oil and sugar but... it isn't pink and also does not smell like bubble gum.
I use the scrub 1-2 times a week, I get flaky pieces on my lips sometimes and looks horrific with lipstick so I like to ex-foliate to reduce hot mess status.
Not too shabby!
I want to start off by saying I love the size of the pans. For the price, it is fantastic, 8 bucks for 3 shadows! I have to commend NYX for making such pigmented products as well. The color selection for the trios are always phenomenal. My palette reminds me of Barbie, but I am also interested in the Anti Diva Palette and the Casablanca Palette.
I do have a few gripes about the product. I notice that even with a primer the shadows fade quite a bit throughout the day. I do not know if it is just because of the colors, since two of them are more on the pastel side but if I know it's going to be a longer day I usually stay away from these shadows.
I also noticed that Hot Pink (which is *not* hot pink...) feels a bit chalky in consistency where the other two (Cherry and Cool Blue) feel much more velvety and are MUCH richer in their color pay offs.
Over all, I think that buying the trios are worth the money, especially if you are interested in some bolder colors and do not want to spend too much on brands that are more pricey.
I don't get it.
I have this in the color Babie, which is not listed so I am assuming discontinued?
Ok, so if you are going to advertise something as LOTSA lip PLUMPING lip gloss, MAYBE it should do that? No? Ok then. It also claims to have MAXI-LIP in it...
"a special cosmetic ingredient developed by Sederma SAS - a member of Croda International plc - which provides corrective and restructuring care for the lips and acts by redensifying the connective tissue. It has been developed from a natural tripeptide, Gly-His-Lys, stabilized and rendered bio-available by being coupled to a palmitoyl group.
This natural peptide has demonstrated its efficacy in restructuring the connective tissue by stimulating the synthesis of collagen and of the glycosaminoglycans."
I looked that up and got that from here: <a class='textlink' href='http://www.annalotan.com/maxilip.html' rel='nofollow noopener' target='_blank'>http://www.annalotan.com/maxilip.ht...</a>
I do not know if that means that over time it is supposed to help reconstruct your lips but I do not usually wear the same gloss every day... Regardless, I don't feel it smooths out my lips any more, and maybe even less than other plumping glosses.
When the gloss starts to wear down, maybe its just me, but the shimmers feel like they are ripping into my lips, which prevents me from wearing it unless I wear it over a balm.
The color itself it pretty on it's own not too pigmented but gives a very nice color to your lips and I like that it smells like lemon cake. I just don't get how you can have a product that does not do anything it says it does.
