Not so much tint, but I enjoy the glossiness
I had initially bought this in Tiger Lily because.. well.. it has been stolen from the tubes so many times over any of the other colors. I just wanted to see why this is worth stealing.
So the only gripe I have with this product is that... I see no real tint. Maybe because it is peach? I have no idea. It doesn't really add much in the way of color to my lips. I do like how it is glossy though! It applies smoothly and is fairly moisturizing. I will probably continue to grab for my original Burt's for daily use but this is nice to add a bit of shine.
Great shades
I think this was a limited edition palette. I have to say that I am extremely happy with the colors! They are very wearable and I have always loved Too Faced eyeshadow formula. Papa Don't Peach is a fantastic blush and the Sun Bunny Bronzer is great for subtle contouring. I tossed the lip shades (as I removed the pans from the palette to put in my Z palette) since I am not so much into panned glosses.
Too Faced makes very quirky and beautiful packaging for their products. The only problem is that I have no space for them all! This one lights up when you open it and has a pretty decent sized mirror. I do plan on repurchasing the eye shadows, blush and bronzer when I run out..
Simple but effective
I mostly like to use this when I am doing a "just gloss" day but works just as well for lipsticks. It is smoother than just a wax and the best part about it, it is transparent, so it goes with every color you have!
I use this every day, but if you have loads of lip pencils (which I have very few of) it may not be necessary to purchase.
Amazed!
So... I told myself I am not buying a twenty dollar sponge... EVER because that would just be ridiculous.
Long story short, I am a ridiculous person and ended up buying the two pack to give one of them to my FOREVER FRIEND so we can try this do-hicky. ALRIGHT. You got me, it's the best sponge applicator I have ever tried. I have used it twice now and the results are better than when I use a brush (REALLY!!). I used youtube's Tiffany D Technique on her latest foundation routine as well as mixing in some of my own techniques... I L-O-V-E the results.
Love how it feels!
I use this before I put on my make up on my forehead area and it smells like almond cookies! I don't know why I like that, but I do... I have noticed that it does help with oil control without drying out my skin. I do not get a fully matte effect from it but it is significant.
It isn't easy for my to find anti aging products that are formulated for oily skin, so I am very pleased (and I really do like the smell!!).
All purpose.
I use this to take off eye make up, or put on a dry spot on my body/face. I use this as lip balm sometimes. It conditions my lashes. I like to use this to soften my cuticles. I use this to prevent hair dye from getting on my ears and forehead. I use this after I give myself a pedicure. I use this to help me shape my eyebrows before I pluck them.
I use Vaseline.
How is it no one has even "liked" this yet?!?!
No thanks.
I bought this because I love Tokidoki. It smells like "watermelon" or some other candy version of fruit and there isn't much color pay off. It looks like a marker which (in theory) sounds fun to use... but it is not. It also LOOKS like you used a marker on your lips.. except I think Crayola Markers would work better. This is a total miss for me!!
Super lasting
I have to be honest... I do not get this mascara's packaging... I don't understand and I don't care! It is too strange to not have. Plus I found a great deal at Nordstrom's Rack. This plus the Leopard Love trio for only 20 bucks! Run.. RUN TO THE RACK AND CHECK OUT THEIR COSMETICS!!
The formula is nice it is very black and it lasts super long. In fact it is pretty damn hard to remove! Which I do not mind because it means that it wasn't wearing off my lashes all day. Definitely worth the purchase I made, worth the $25.00 though... sure? If you need a flashlight and a mascara in one!
Simply a balm.
I know it says cream, but it is not a cream. It is more of a solid balm.. This is an all purpose type of thing, if you have dry spots this is for that. I do not think it works better than lotion all the time and it is somewhat greasy after application so it is hard to use during the day. Some people swear by this, I see in the description it says you can use it in your hair? I haven't tried that and I have not put it on my face since I have oily skin and like I said it is greasy... so I wouldn't try this as a blemish reducer...
I use it when my hands get super dry in the winter and sometimes during pedicures but it just feels like it is more for people with pretty dry skin..
