WHY IS THIS SO AMAZING?!
Rather, why it this so amazing and I didn't know about it before?! This is pretty much a one coat deal here. I love it!!! I have this in Coral Starfish which is an orange with shimmer in it. LOVE. So opaque. So pretty! Didn't have any problems with chipping after putting a top coat on it.... And pretty inexpensive for the quality.
Oh L'Oréal, how you never cease to amaze me!
Quite strange and quite nice.
I haven't used an almay product in a long while. This happened to be 75% off at CVS and I liked the commercial (plus I cannot pass up 75% off makeup) so I thought I would give it a whirl. It is extremely interesting! I tried 1 on my left eye and 3 on my right and there is, in fact, a big difference! Realistically I will probably always use this on 3 because that is the look I like to always go for even if black dramatic lashes are not appropriate. I enjoy the click factor. My forever friend, Angela W, tells me that I am a marketer's dream. Its true.
I guess...
Oily/combination, acne prone skin here.... Saw this with a 75% off sticker and thought to myself "Why not?"
Why not? Because I am not pink. Maybe I just needed another color but even if I had the right color, it just is not enough coverage for my liking. There is no overpowering chemical smell that usually emits itself from drugstore brand foundations. I will give it points for that! I may just give this to someone who has this skin color... or just do what I did today and try and even it out with a powder.
It did control shine, definitely impressed with that. The weight of it feels too heavy for the coverage it gives and I am not sure on the clarifying deal since today was my first real try with this product. To me this would have been good (if it was my color) for when I was in high school. Not bad, not great but OK for the 2 bucks I spent on this.
Love this
I love this product. I'm not just saying that because I got it at a crazy discount either! This is great for me since many bronzers are a bit heavy. This has peach undertones which compliments my skin better (I swear some bronzers just look like some serious dirt on my face!). I love the blush, it is a very pretty pink color and it is quite pigmented so I don't have to swirl my brush furiously for color pay off. The brighten is not quite a highlight color since it does have some pinky pigmentation in it. I use it to help blend the bronzer and the blush together and if used lightly, it can give your whole face a nice glow. Three fantastic products in one palette... genius.
Found my drugstore foundation!
I am trying to conserve some money so I figured I need to not fly through my Nars foundation like it is going out of style. I decided to try this because... well... because it looked pretty. Oddly i had just purchased my beauty blender which does not work well with this product... I use a duo fiber brush to apply it and it looks FLAWLESS. I don't even need a primer for this foundation, which is great so I can skip a step.
I have oily skin so I do have oil issues in my t-zone after half a day or so (5 hours) but I just use blotting sheets and finish with my matte powder and I am good for the rest of the day (this is not abnormal for me, happens with most foundations). It is a light to medium coverage but it evens out my skin. I love the finish, it isn't heavy or cakey and it doesn't feel like my skin is suffocating. I have used this for almost a week now and have no had any issues with breaking out. Overall this was a happy purchase for myself!
I SEE THE WAY!
Creamy, smooth, moisturizing lipstick. I have this in Hot Pink and I will soon have the Black Label Lipsticks in MANY MORE. Wow, this takes the cake for me for "drugstore" make up. I pine over Nars Lipsticks every time I stroll through Sephora... longing for the pigmented vibrant colors. NO LONGER WILL I PINE (much) FOR THOSE LIPSTICKS. NYX pulled through with this one, it doesn't have that weird chemically smell that most lipsticks have from the drugstore. It is smooth and lovely, I cannot wait to try their reds!
Worth investing in!
I have never tried these up until recently. They looked sticky and goopey and cheap. I was totally wrong. These are the exact opposite. They are smooth and they are super pigmented and not sticky. NOT STICKY. I cannot believe how fantastic these are!
I know some people have a strong aversion to cherry scents, so this gloss may make you cringe if you do. The color payoff would be worth it though.. just saying.
Super exfoliating!
This is one of my favorite lush products! One side of the bar is body butter with bits of crushed almond and the other side is packed with crushed almonds. I love almond scents so the fact that this is made with almond butter AND ground almonds, is HEAVEN to me! I use this to scrub/exfoliate my arms and my legs. It is pretty rough though, so if you are not used to exfoliating (and I am talking to you "puffy loofah" using people too!)... this will probably be too much for you! I think my skin feels fantastic afterwards.
Since this is a body butter, after I get out of the shower I am already moisturized, you just use the opposite side of the crushed almonds! It allows me to skip a step after I get out of the shower and still have the same effect. I love it!
Super smooth!
I love this stuff! It is so moisturizing and it smells fantastic (green apple). I use this primarily before bed and after ex-foliating my lips. Yes, it is a bit pricey (YIKES!!! $18.00) and I really only bought it because it comes in an adorable pot and smells so yummy BUT it works like a dream. It is labeled as a natural product on sephora.com and you can go check to see what their standards of "natural" are.
Overall, if you have problem lips, this is probably worth the investment to help condition and keep them moisturized.
