About Me
Wanna-be MUA, Product Hoarder. I love website design, graphic design, make-up, photography, beauty, fashion, travel, and all things tech! I'm Tech-chic, I guess.
It's safe to say I am obsessed with 50s & 60s make up, vintage style and glamour.
I live in the great state of New Jersey, more than just Newark International Airport, Camden (yikes!) and the Jersey Shore.
Joining a online makeup community for me gives me the courage to get a little crazy with my makeup! Sharing ideas and seeing other peoples styles is very inspiring! I had lost a lot of confidence the past couple years because I had to really tone down my look for work (in an industry of mostly men) and the "modest" look made me feel boring. Truth is, I'm not boring at all!! I found that I can add little touches of myself and still be work-appropriate.

Hey! I'm so glad you found some of my tips helpful. I've actually gone from red back to blonde again using the same process I've used before- totally need to update my pics!
As for touching up roots, my best advice would be this: section your hair into as many parts as you can with clips and apply the bleach strategically. The more parts you can seperate it into, the easier it will be to keep track of where you've applied the bleach. I use literally like 20 clips to do this. Then I apply the bleach solution with a brush to the roots only.
I usually start in the middle because that's where the sun would hit your head, but also where if you overbleach it's not going to be as obvious as the very front, around your hairline area... next I do the very front, and finally the underside because that should be darker (the sun doesn't lighten that area as much. Unless you want the same color all over- which some people do- in which case you just have to work superfast without being sloppy.
Actually, you should work superfast (as fast as you can without getting the bleach everywhere) because it lightens very quickly.
If you have any other questions feel free to msg! Bleaching is sooo easy once you have it down! And don't forget- condition/use masks like crazy and be sure not to overwash or over heat style- it'll save your newly bleached hair!
