definitely dramatic
i actually like this mascara a lot. i like using a volumnizing mascara for the first layer, and then i use this for the second coat. it helps give my lashes a little bit of a natural curl since i don't use my eyelash curler everyday. it does get clumpy sometimes when you apply it, but if you run it through a few times or use an eyelash comb, it turns out fine. even though my eyelashes aren't super short like a lot of asian girls' are, i do like it because it gives a pop of extra drama.
magic spray
this spray is like magic. i did makeup for my friend's wedding yesterday, as well as 2 of her bridesmaids' makeup, and i used this spray on all of them. all their makeup stayed in place all night long, and didn't smudge even though it was wet and humid outside, and it was an outdoor wedding. definitely worth buying for occasions where you need it to stay an extra-long time.
love them.
i have these in the purple, brown, and champagne colors, and they work great. high color payoff and at $5 each (they were on sale when i got them), they were a good deal too. i bought the brown one first, and since i liked it so much, i went back and got the other two colors!
i use the brown one almost everyday -- it's great for defining my little asian crease :) or as a wash over my entire lid, or even as the darker defining color for the outer corner of my eye.
one of my favorites.
after reading the previous two reviews i was really surprised, because this eyeliner works great for me. i have it in black, brown, metallic purple, and metallic blue-gray. i don't use a traditional angled eyeliner brush to apply it though. i use a really small smudge brush that i got from sonia kashuk for target a while back and it works wonderfully. i always wing it out in the corner, and sometimes i'll smudge it with an eyeshadow, or leave it defined and dramatic. the only time when it's smudged before is when i put it on my lower lashline without smudging an eyeshadow on top of it to set it.
