Beauty Product Reviews
Murad's Craving for Clean is refreshing, hydrating, and a total steal.
I was just looking for a new moisturizer this past February when I went in to Sephora and the awesome expert who was helping me asked if she could cleanse my skin first. It'd been a particularly stressful day and I was happy to allow myself a little indulgence. 'I don't have to buy it,' I reminded myself. I was fully committed to a brand of facial wash that I'd been buying from my drugstore since I was at least 13. But when this face wash touched my skin, I was hooked. It was cooling, calming, cleansing, and it smelled amazing. Smell is a huge sticking point for me. Even when I was a toddler, my mom says I was very sensitive to bad smells. I hate medicinal smells and anything that is too floral makes me sick to my stomach. Besides that, I have asthma and am prone to attacks when I'm subjected to something particularly potent and unpleasant. This face wash simply smells wonderful. It's a little sweet and almost has a strawberries and cream sort of smell to it. When she was done, my face already felt so much better and I felt like it was cleaner than it had ever been. The price point wasn't awful, either -- only $17. Many Murad products are pricey, into the $50-$70 range for one product, which in means this product is a steal. The bottle has lasted me a long time, and I use it twice a day. I can't say I'm surprised, either. One little pea-sized drop goes a very long way. The best way to describe it is that it's refreshing. If I'm in a bad mood or if I get home after a long day, washing my face with it makes me instantly less stressed. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good face wash but doesn't want to break the bank. Many of my friends have tried it and absolutely love it.
