Worth every penny!

I have combination dry skin so i am always on the lookout for a good hydrating primer. I had given the Laura Gellar Hydrating Spackle Primer a try but it didnt work so i tried this. At first i was hesitant because it was kind of expensive for me. But once i sampled it on my skin and i felt the cooling moisturizing sensation, i knew that i needed it for sure. This is my go to primer and it really keeps my makeup on. i love it

I Love This Lipstick!

When I heard theses lipsticks were coming out, I was a bit skeptical. They didnt look like anything special or out of the ordinary and it didnt look like there was much pigment to it. However when i was at my job and they came in, I was curious to see what all the hype was about. I can say i understand why everyone and their grandmother loves these lipsticks. They are hydrating,creamy,and come in an array of colors;my favorite of which is Naked Dolly. Its like the perfect nude that almost anyone can wear. Love Love LOVE these.

So dry!

I had been anticipating these coming out so when these dropped and I saw the colors i bought two of them in the colors Coral and Nude. I swatched the colors and i thought they were so pretty. However, when i swatched them on my lips, it was a different story. The colors were lovely but they were so drying that I felt like i needed to lick my lips every 5 seconds. Maybe a gloss will make it more bearable. i just wish they had come out with a long lasting lip product that wasn't so dry.

Hardly Universal

I just tried this palette for the first time at work the other day. And although the colors are nice,I would hardly call them universal shades. Also this palette doesn't have a lot of staying power. Overall I think it could be better.

The Perfect Nude

I have so many Mac lipsticks in every shade tone and finish. But even I went into the store not believing that I could find my "perfect nude". I had had looked everywhere for a nude lipstick and all the ones I tried were either too orange or too pink. As soon as I searched Velvet Teddy, I knew something was different. The color of it was a my lips but better color with a hint of shine but not enough to make me look wet at all. It is matte without being drying and looks beautiful with Mac Chestnut lip liner. I love it and I have more than one
