Worth a try during Winter

So this is an interesting product. It's a cream-gel that you put on and then slap you skin to start the warming process and promote circulation! It is very lightweight and dries in but you do feel moisturized. I like to use this during the winter because the warming feel so good! It is a splurge but worth the price. I believe its around $40.

Smooths the frizz

Just a small amount! I rub it between my fingers to break the microspheres and apply it to the bottom 2/3, where I have most of my frizzy issues. My hair is never greasy, I never feel product, just healthy shiny hair.

I purchased the 2oz size from Sephora, the full size (3.8oz) is $30, Since I only wash my hair twice a week, and use such a small amount it was easier on the wallet and I could justify the $12 cost. I will rebuy.

The name says it all.

I bought this the week it launched and returned it 3 weeks later. Like the smell of burnt hair? then this is the product for you! Complete crap. After I perfected the speed this device needs to travel, I still had to buff, shave or wax. UGG. total waste of time and money. Buy a Tria.

My husbands!

I once asked if he wanted something a little more 'high-end' and his response was, "you still use Clinique." Enough said. He plays soccer 2 days a week and we go to the gym so he's a sweaty dirty boy. This keeps his skin in check. It's super inexpensive and it works. Bottom line. It works. The soap cleans without dry-out (you might feel 'tight') and the Glycerin keeps his skin naturally moisturized.

Now if I can get him to use an SPF!

Easy and cooling

I quickly found that I was wanting to reapply this product because the cooling effect feels so good on a hot day! I use this every day on my body. The can sprays upside down and is ideal for hands-free (sand free) application. It dries quickly, does not run and is not greasy. I highly recommend this SPF 45, it's full range protection UVA/UVB.

Best drugstore eyemakeup remover!!

I have used this for several years! LOVE IT. It is about $6 and can be found everywhere. It is a 2 part that you shake to mix, it is OIL-FREE and works on water-proof makeup! I use a cotton round to apply, it never ends up in my eyes, it does not sting or burn or irritate the delicate eye skin. Best of all, it washes off completely so there's never product residue.

Forget department store eye makeup removers, trust me - this is the best.

Gets sticky over time

This is for "Downtown" a nordies exclusive from Holiday '10. This is a beautiful opalescent purple whose shade can multi-task. Wear it alone, with pencil, blend over lipstick... It's a pretty universal skin tone shade. Maybe not for the palest of skin tones. I have it on alone in my picture.

I love the applicator, it reminds me of a terry towel and because of the texture it smooths not globs the gloss on your lips. The downside, it becomes sticky over time or if you rubs your lips together often, like I do.

I probably wont rebuy this shade because there are so many others that I would like to try.

Too lightweight

I have a Fall '09 trend shade #20. It is a bright opalescent pink I purchased alongside Eye Liner #6. These colours are discontinued.

I want to love this gloss much more than I actually do. It is exactly as described: lightweight. The professional brush delivers a lot of product and since this is a very thin gloss, with a stiff brush, it is hard to get smooth even coverage.

When i rub my lips together, they tingle from the plumper. The gloss does not get sticky but it doesn't stay around for long either. A couple sips of coffee and I have to reapply.

The smell is super pleasant, it reminds me of YSL's mango based lip rouge, but I don't need my lips to smell nice, my perfume and oral hygiene take care of that! I prefer fragrance-free. I wonder, what are you trying to hide in your product?!

It would have faired much better with my review if it had a foam tip applicator and had been fragrance free. @ $26 i'll pass and stick with NARS.

The photo had the liner on top and the gloss on the bottom.

You can find better for less

I'm not sure if this is "Mauve Impression" It is a pearlized pink from Fall '09 and says #6 on the bottom. I love the colour. This is a high impact super pigmented liner that lasts all day, even on my oily lids.

My dislike: too much product comes out on the brush. If you are not a liquid liner pro, it can be overwhelming not to mention it takes a little longer to dry. *Confession: sometimes I hit my eyes with Low/Cool on my blowdryer to speed this along.

I started to wipe some of the product off inside the well but that became gunked with dried out product.

I have never seen a product that holds together so well. These pigments bind together and do not break apart over eyelid wrinkles. For that reason I think that these are excellent for an older eye.

At $29.50 each, I'll stick with something more budget friendly on the classic colours and reserve this product for special trends.

Golden Pearlized Beige

I wear it over everything as well as alone. It is beige with rich opalescent shimmer. Good for fair to light medium skin tones. It goes on creamy is not sticky and does not feather. I use it more as a topper or blender gloss, It's a little too washed out all over my lips.

The picture has Greek Holiday on the lower left, Striptease upper center and Dolce Vita in the right.
