Cotton Candy Ombré

I didn't have a white nail polish on me so I used a rosy nude-like pink by OPI as a base. Then I just used a makeup sponge and acrylic paint to make the ombré effect. However, the acrylic paint doesn't stay on very well. I noticed the edges began to chip by day 2. Even after I applied a top coat. But acrylic is much easier to blend!
